The Benefits of Socialism

Not long ago, civility mattered.
Today nothing seems to count so much as winning…winning is all, compromise is for losers and my opponents are my enemies.

Is it any wonder very few want to participate in this debate.

Maybe the first thing to do is to stick out the neck.

I am doing it.

I’m not foreseeing an agreement, or some common teary eyed embrace.

My goal is to get to a place where we can reason with eachother. Can that be done civily? I think yes. You will have to stick your neck out too and accept the challenge to find out.

To my chagrin, I find you are not a socialist (reading your previous post).

I’ll never get why people don’t just have a debate instead of trying to debate outside of the debate.

A precondition for debate should be: the participants should like being proven wrong. People that can’t handle being proven wrong, will perhaps, l feel, act like they can see death approaching, when invited to a debate :stuck_out_tongue:

“Socialism is not merely an economic system, but a part of a conspiratorial agenda, which can be linked with a New World Order. One could trace the roots of socialist ideology back to the social teachings of the Roman Catholic Church.”

This is awesome. It’s not being merely wrong, but the awesomeness of the fact that this is instruction given not only by one of the biggest enemy gangs of socialism in history - the Catholic church - but also a perfect farce that’s been perpetrated by charlatans for a thousand fuckin years.

That’s what’s so beautiful about it. It’s a perfect picture of buffoonery. And also one of the things that strengthens your conviction that ‘god’ would have nothing to do with such nonsense or anyone involved in it (these ridiculous christians, catholics, jews, churches, priests). That’s the goddamn irony we love… but at who’s expense? Does it matter that this person is dreadfully mistaken about both socialism and the Catholic church? I say no. Why. Not just because there is neither the drive for or the capacity to recognize truth, but because it is this persons nature to be meek and uneventful wherever and whatever this person is doing. There is no stake in anything… only the self-important flattery and desperation of someone that thinks it should deserve eternal bliss for not murdering anyone and paying its bills on time… because that’s the kind of challenging stuff that’s so difficult that anyone who makes it through should be given eternal life so they can walk laps around an air-conditioned spirit mall while singing praises to god.

You could try being less fucking hilarious about it.

I thought I came to this sub forum for a debate.

In reality, I came for a lesson.

So be it.

And everything else to do with education and the world at large.

I guess hating on greatness gives them some feeling of proximity to it.

And especially spelling and grammar

So-called ‘socialist’ societies are the most successful because that’s what humans are, at the most fundamental level. ‘Individuality’ is an illusion. We are more like ants than anything else. You only have to look at us from a great distance  I’m sure ants think they are ‘individuals’ too and have their own little ant personalities. Doesn’t change anything though. People are just deluding themselves if they think otherwise.

Just recording your superior spelling and grammar here, we are awed, maybe the US should be a colony again.

On to the subject though, for all that cockyness, why not give us a real lesson…

In a debate.

Actually, I’m bored already. I cancel the challenge.

‘View hidden reply’. Umm. No thanks.

The Catholic church is not seen as a true enemy of socialism, but rather as a power that uses structures to advance its own global dominance.

In its quest for geopolitical and religious power, shaping a New World Order, it incorporates elements of both capitalism and socialism.

The Vatican works toward a “closed system” where wealth and resources are ultimately controlled by the Church, viewing this centralized power as a form of “socialism” or corporatism.

Seemingly contradictory movements (like capitalism and communism) are controlled by the same power structure in the background - the Papacy- designed to move the world towards a totalitarian, controlled society.

Global movements such as ecumenism and interfaith dialogues are efforts by Rome to bring all religions and political systems under its authority.

Um…cockiness is the correct spelling.

Omg no we.,.,.,.

“The Catholic church is not seen as a true enemy of socialism, but rather as a power that uses structures to advance its own global dominance.”

Uh-oh, a weird logical problem here. You’ll have to explain how that’s possible since, by definition, ‘socialism’ does not involve churches and organizations ‘dominating globally’.

But since ‘socialism’ has all but lost its meaning to a generation of dopes you can really call anything you want ‘socialism’ and even say stuff like ‘socialist policies’ and ‘socialist programs’ whatever that means.
