Yes , insecurities are growing and you have nicely put this phenomenon in to the words . But from individual insecurities you have jumped to collapse of Civilization, little too early or in haste . What are the all pervading human insecurities in increasing order they are : food security, financial security, housing issues ( popularly known as Roti, Kapada, Makan in India ). Then comes education, job, job security, political uncertainty and finally religious freedom and national and international conflicts. Apocalypticism or waiting for doomsday is the common psychology across the globe or countries.
