The idealist- What seperates us from everyone else is that we don’t accept things for what they are or for how the universe is but instead we fight for how the world and universe should be.
The realist- Should be what?
The idealist- uh-oh.
The realist- uh-oh what?
The idealist- This is my exit. ( Exits.)
The realist- We accept existence and the universe as it is not for what we wish it to be. Wishes are a dime a dozen.
the difference between idealism and realism? analogous to the difference between a yellow lab and a black lab. Same species, same basic breed, similar behavior, picking between the two is a purely aesthetic decision. Realism requires idealism, without which there could be no “real” - and idealism requires realism, without which there could be no “should”.
