As multiple people have suggested that the
current world is or ought to collapse…
and we are reminded by Hegel…
‘‘The owl of Minerva spreads its wings only with
the falling of the dusk’’
This thought suggests that in America at least,
we should have an explosion of philosophy within
the population… or perhaps the explosion of philosophy
and philosophers during the first part of the 20th century
might have been the philosophy/philosophers, Hegel was referring to…
I can’t tell… in any case, we must think about what
possibility’s philosophy can offer us during these bleak times…
As I have written before, I believe part of this current
problems lie within the fact that we don’t seem to have
any type of goal or purpose we can collectively
reach…I/we have individual goals we desire to reach,
but today, right now, what collective goal or purpose
do we have in front of us?
None that I can see… Musk and IQ45 are taking away
some goals and purposes, but are they advocating any
goals or purposes? Nope, just nihilism…
as advocates of destruction, they are simple proponents
of nihilism… destruction, of values or people or institutions,
that is nihilism… and that is the only thing agents of nihilism
like IQ45 and musk are offering… destruction, without
the possibility of rebuilding… agents of chaos, nihilism
cannot offer us anything more than destruction… for they
have nothing else… and once they are done, there will
not be a chance offered to rebuild our institutions…
Nihilism will have won… is that the America you want to
see? That is, in part, why I am no longer an Anarchist,
it fails to offer us something positive, something that
is the opposite of Nihilism… if we destroy America,
that is pure nihilism… if that what you really want?
destroying America’s institutions is nihilism,
destroying America’s ability to change or adapt,
that is nihilism…
Following or agreeing with Musk/IQ45 is nihilism…
Nihilism: the negation of human beings and their values…
following Musk/IQ45 is nihilism because it does negate
human beings and their values… for it gives priority to
money, and that sure the hell is negation and denial of
human beings and their values…
