I know it’s not technically a terror attack, but the Cologne mass-rape thing (New Years, wasn’t it?) is important to talk about, as there was so much scandal surrounding the police cover up, Merkel pushing to censor Facebook, and all the rest that gives context to the true terrorist strikes.
I think they were just a bunch of guys new on the scene, not knowing yet how to get girlfriends, roaming as a pact. They undoubtedly say it less as Islam vs West or Terrorism than the song “Who let the dogs out”. They may be refugees, but they are still men. Put enough young healthy men together in a alien land, in prolonged circumstantial celibacy, and they are going to roam as violent perverts, doesn’t matter the nationality or culture. Just comes natural. Europe was too “evolved” to get this phenomena (in other words, overlooked being pragmatic and realistic about this. I’m not Anti-Muslim… they can produce damn good intellectuals and philosophers just like Christianity can. If you lay out a problem before them, they will do a kn-jerk protection of Islam, but will also shift pragmatically to resolve the issues. Imams usually are well read and educated, not without a concern to classical ethics as Christians are. We can solve most issues fast with the right, no bullshit personalities at the table.)

Because it doesnt feel like a terror attack… I deduce it circumstantially. It was at a kebob restaurant… which means more than likely a Turkish restaurant. Can Turks and ISIS attack a islamic restaurant? They do all the time in Syria and Iraq… but doubt that be the very first target you would pick. More than likely they jyst had a argument. This suggests premeditation and not insanity or faulty thinking insofar as his ability to plan… if you get used to reading about hundreds of attack reports, you quickly learn to dismiss the early knee jerk reactions on mental competency, and type them in other ways.
Itsone of the things I do alot, spend a big chunk of my time on, I look at world news reports, continent by continent, country by country scanning for news stories, then I hunker down on certain stories and probe it on lower media.
Build a larger typological system. Germany isnt too reluable on painting these pictures historically. They dont ever ask a whole lot of why questions, unlike in America where people look at how many bowl movements you have oer week and if your mother denied to a trip to disneyworld as a kid, or had a bad marriage a decade earlier… countries vary wildly in how they investigate these issues.

ISIS did however kill a priest in France tonight, but France isn’t Germany. Perhaps tonight will be peaceful? Well… not for the hospital in Munich or the priest in France, but otherwise maybe peaceful. Who knows.
