In this, our life plans no predicted outcome, in this, our life is not a set of certain circumstances, but only from what has occurred… In this, it’s that, our life, which we find dear…
So we can conclude our life has meaning…
And to have proved to others that life’s meaningful, you too must know and have provisions for what’s necessary… That is, love, dedication, and better temperament of certain circumstances along with complete consideration of that what is really the purpose of our understanding… and that is freedom.
To have not installed anything in others is a true way of having people think free from outside control.
To threaten somebody to act as you have suggested is not…
That negates freedom entirely and puts conflict onto conflict. To have a source reason to have proved yourself in this manner isn’t at all better accepted. There’s no soul to understand this, or very much too many.
Only this form of unreasonableness which now has no other guide in the conduct of learning… For all secrets have died with him/her and now nobody has any clarity for what has transpired. To have had at least a viable source of thought, opinion, and or any suggested comments would have just been better for your own thought process and your capacity of capable knowledge. Allow us never to never forget knowledge is infinite. Love is cradled in knowing. To have never known, I’d be in complete unattestable question with not only myself but those who I try to explains thoughts to. In order to inform others of said experiences. This finding of evidence is only that… A find… A complete (Grasp of the fact) if you will. And this is what we strive to do is, Find… Better yet know.
We’re in a constant quest to FIND and even better, know, and prove.
Yet if it’s honestly only necessary for ourselves or just for others to then conclude those said to understand singularly. Yet we will have never known if it had occurred to us too late, that was only our own decision. Then having been affected by such a conflict would have never made emotions run high if we were prepared….
Better prepared in the understanding of life and how it affects those living it.
We have a choice, and we don’t have choices if unable, yet to find certain ways around difficulties we face. We choose for ourselves what’s good and what’s bad. We have THIS natural freedom.

The music of life as we know will play out, for the reasonable, or for the arbitrary.

Species or individual ? Which is supposed to be the important one? Freedom for the species is different than freedom for the individual. Many times and ways the two conflict.
All species including human. The species should be the priority over individuals most times. Most times there is never conflict. The desires and freedoms of the individual cannot be priority over evolution and survival of the species.
Interesting question: Say a woman is carrying a fetus that is an advanced human fetus that can help humanity to evolve positively but, if she carries the fetus her life is in danger. Should the doctors and scientists put her first or the species. And just for those that may come up with it, only she can carry that baby, not another woman or incubator.
Soon it will be possible to carry the zygote, the embryo, and the fetus in an extrauterine way. Then we will have totally arrived at the point of the more insecure, the more primitve reproduction again. We will no longer need any intrauterine thing then.
The natural womb as the realization of the the natural idea to lay the egg into the inside of the body will have become obsolete. There will be no natural birth any longer, since the natural uterus will not be needed any longer. Humans will not be needed any longer - their natural reproduction will be replaced by genetic engineering and artificial “wombs”, their economical production will be replaced by machines (cp.: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=185562) and perhaps by artificial humans (cyborgs) … So humans will either become artificial humans or die out.
I think that I may be able to agree to that but I’m uncertain. Perpetuating and saving any species is important and the individual is part of the greater whole.

But as individuals, we, as humans, do make our desires as more important than the E&S of many species…including our home…at least from my PoV we do. We’re very callous in our preserving them; at least, many of us are…
That’s an ethical question. I love them.
The way I look at it, most mothers (but then again maybe most is too exaggerated) would rather put their unborn child first even endangering their selves. Also, I could see where the best of mothers (humanity)would for the same reason put the species first, which of course, would include that unborn child.
I may be wrong here but for me to take the choice out of the woman’s hands would be like Nazi Germany all over again.
I suppose that I’m banking on the woman making the only decision that I could see.
Let’s not forget that this Mom is part of the human species also.
I realize that this is not quite an easy question to answer. We can only answer it according to the dictates of our own hearts and minds…though some may say otherwise.
I really do have a problem with the doctors and scientists taking over. That seems like enslavement to me which also might lead to the enslavement of that child as he grows up in some lab (strong possibility of that), devoid of a normal and happy life.
If it were me, I’d run and hide somewhere with my child where he/she could grow up normally and at some stage in his/her life, he/she will live out his/her purpose - or raison de etre. (Gees, too many pronouns.
my friend, you did what we all do from time to time. You did a knee jerk reaction. You did not think about why scientists would be involved. Enslaved , volunteer, or paid with or maybe without a contract.
It could be also be a coincidence that doctors noticed and involved scientists etc.
you saw only one as most of us will. One crucial word gets lost or tossed. This is how freedom and other aspects of living can be lost. It is what law and lawyers count on, crucial words placed in certain ways and the fine print that few bother to truly read and understand.
Yet before the catastrophe a man, women and children were shot into space as for them to then begin a life anew.
Before all was said and done, the couple and two kids along with a couple that knew of how to work the spaceship. All had to come together for a very long time after witnessing what it was they’re were faced with. Total annihilation of earth and no home to return to. Now in the unknown itself and floating on endlessly. How would freedom be expressed if not in accordance to rules of the ship and if they had the freedom to do things than is it there where they can fully grasp the whole spectrum of freedom and better cope as a FAMILY and not so much as a “Nation”?
