The idea of New World Order

The New World Order in which the entire world is completely controlled by a few elite is bound to fail. The power structure that would be required in order to maintain it would have to be extremely intricately coordinated and a single slip in vigilance could lead to an eventual collapse of the whole thing (granted globalism and mass communication will make this job easier).

Nevertheless, if the idea succeeds, it will only be a matter of time before NWO falls apart. Our history being full of fallen empires is a testament to that. Because it is a human creation and will be maintained by humans it will be subject to human error (where a small miscalculation, if not corrected/adjusted quickly enough given ever changing array of circumstances, and carried across time, could lead to a total collapse of the system).

If and when the independent states/nations are re-instated (post-NWO nations/peoples), however, I don’t think they will would have the same identities as they did before NWO (depending on how long NWO lasts). By then, alliances would probably change and national maps would probably be re-drawn. I wonder what the post-NWO people would be like… Would they be as individualistic? Would they lose touch with their heritage? Would they draw their individuality from NWO regime? Their identity?

I am not opposed to a NWO - if it betters our lives and makes for a happier existence then let the New World Order… begin!
