MrAuthoritarian, you don’t understand capitalism at all. Capital is not the goal — it’s a tool. The real goal is power — global power. All the so-called “national governments” have been bought with those green bills. Do you at least understand that much?
Space is money thrown to the wind — or more precisely, into “space.” In essence, it’s a way to launder taxpayers’ money. Or, in the case of the USSR for example, it was an act of economic sabotage. Pointless spending. Space programs never pay for themselves.
By the way, “money into space” is a vivid example that capitalism, as a profit-driven system, simply doesn’t work.
Obviously capitalism is a means to power just as global capitalism is about acquiring global power, that in effect is the downfall of human civilization which capitalism foolishly believes to be its own highest virtue.
There’s nothing about postmodern western society that doesn’t inevitably come to ruin, this whole society of ours is ruinous, it will inevitably lead to ruin long before fancy notions of colonizing the moon or Mars even becomes a reality.
You don’t even have a definition of what power is. Power is a system of prohibitions, followed by indulgences—temporary permissions granted for the benefit of whoever imposed those prohibitions. Any and all power is destructive, because it cares only about itself. And it makes no difference what name you give it—communism, socialism, capitalism, or anything else. The mere existence of power leads inevitably to ruin.
There’s a difference between a power used for the good of all versus a selfish power that is utilized for only a few. I know this might be difficult for teenage nihilists to understand or mentally grasp.
This is difficult to understand for trained fools who are no longer able to learn. I give definitions. Either refute them or learn. Power (any) is based on faith. Faith is a herd instinct. Where one sheep goes, another follows it. So you sheep think power is necessary. But this is a lie. Something else comes to power – management. As a special form, democracy.
Not all of us view ourselves as wolves feasting on sheep. Some of us actually want human beings to evolve beyond and past basic predatory animalistic instincts.
If we never evolve past all that we surely will be stuck on this planet until the sun goes supernova. We either learn to evolve past our base animal instincts or we will perish from this universe eventually.
I understand nature very well actually along with the violent primitive inclinations of human beings, but I also know if we don’t overcome these primitive inclinations of ours collectively we will either destroy ourselves or merely subsist long enough in the worst kind of way until the universe itself decides to destroy us like it did with the dinosaurs. We either overcome, adapt, and evolve or we wither and die slowly into oblivion. If you do not understand that it is you who is doomed.
It’s not the “inclinations” that are primitive, but the primitive human thinking, both in its details and as a whole.
War with nature is always a losing battle.
You still don’t understand what nature is. Yet, it’s funny that you continue trying to fight it.
To make sure you learn the lesson and understand that you need to learn (from the Demon), specifically the basics of understanding, I’ll ask: What is nature? Give a definition.
Copy the definitions of the Demon — over time, you will understand.
You don’t know what nature is, I’ve seen the lowest depravity of human nature and the lowest depths of the human soul, people like you who think of themselves as alpha wolves are nothing but barking Chihuahuas.
The reality is the kind of world you think you support would swallow you right up the moment it came into existence, you wouldn’t survive in a no hold bars zero sum game without any rules or laws.

Of course I don’t feel like right-wing neocon capitalist wealthy tycoons are going to usher in an era of compassion and utopia for homeless. But its good to point out the hypocrisy of the left.
Think for yourselves, what has happened and is happening with the “Russians.” The fact of survival speaks volumes. Although you are partly right. Survival, for example, in Africa, China, or Mexico, requires greater efforts.
I agree w FJ. The folks who genuinely care about people experiencing homelessness usually also genuinely care about those who are “economic refugees” from other countries.
However, I have seen folks who turn against not only economic refugees from other countries, but also from other areas of our own country or state. For example, folks who move to my county from the Bay Area are resented because they “justify” greedy landlords raking in rents hiked up to near-Bay prices. And folks from other states feel the same about everyone from California (granted… not just due to driving up housing & other costs).
But everyone moving around… is just trying to make ends meet.
And whose actual fault is it that they can’t? NOT the ones just tryin to make ends meet.

State power is the cause of injustice, refugees, illegal immigrants, and even problems from immigrants.
I just want to say that if you know you’re charging more than fair market value, or paying less than minimum (nay, living) wage, however that is determined, which may be absolute bullshit and not fair/minimum/living at all, then you know you are cheating people. That makes you a loser by default. And that is all I have to say about that.
Exactly, I always wondered why liberals push for so much immigration when we cannot even take care of the people who are already here. So many poor and homeless and unemployed are here already, wouldn’t it make more logical sense to use money and resources to solve some of that problem first instead of bringing in even more people?
But then I had to realize, liberals/democrats have near-zero compassion or love for so many people in real misery, they just larp like they do. They don’t care that in their democrat bastion cities there is probably someone down in the gutter starving right now less than a block or two away from them. They would cringe and mutter “gross” to themselves as they step over that person, then go on their way to larp about how much of a wonderfully compassionate human being they are because they think “all are welcome here”.
I witnessed this first hand being homeless in many democratically controlled liberal cities, the so called compassion towards the less fortunate is all deceptive pretense as a means of controlling people, the compassion always fake, insincere, and not real.
Their compulsion towards foreign immigrants is always business and finance related of cheaper wages via surplus human labor, again fake compassion.
