The NRA convention is in Houston TX this week

Today the NRA convention started and look,
guns are not allowed inside the convention…
I wonder why?

having guns in schoolrooms, the NRA has no problem with that,
but having guns in their convention, no and hell no…
I mean who would want to get shot by a gun, right?
outside of children, I mean…

This sentiment is nothing new… find the source, to find the (not) culprit. Liar!

K: So, we shouldn’t hold people accountable for their actions?
Interesting take on gun violence…

Kropotkin

I said no such thing… I’m not on about the shooter, but the laws and legislation surrounding such matters. You play dumb when you’re ready, I see… but not before.

You’re quick to counter when you think the ball is in your court, but don’t when it is not… democracy? lol

K: Interesting thing about the law and legislation…
that it has been legal, in the law, to allow slavery,
women as property, blacks as 3/5 of a person,
the Holocaust was legal, laws preventing blacks
and whites from marrying, laws making being gay illegal,
and gay marriage was illegal as was smoking weed…
that committing suicide is illegal,
that in Mississippi, you can’t have two children out of
wedlock, that in Rockville Maryland, you can’t swear in public,
that in Colorado, you can’t keep a couch in your porch,
that in Michigan, you can’t sell a car on sunday…

Are you really going to depend on the law to do the right thing?

Kropotkin

and I forgot, that it has only been in the last
few years, that in Saudi Arabia, that women
have been allowed to drive… it was illegal for
women to drive… but of course, being legal and all,
that meets with your approval…

Kropotkin

And interesting irony.
They know damn well that people who like guns, also like to use them.

What do yo mean by this response?

Why are you now blaming people for gun violence? You think the gun is the problem, right?

Absolutely we should hold people accountable for their actions.

Here’s two things being swept under the rug and not holding the PEOPLE accountable for their actions:

  1. Priests molesting kids. No one talking about that, and no one held accountable. Over 1,000 cases in PA alone.
If that’s an average, then there’s 50,000 cases to be prosecuted in the U.S. alone, to hold those people accountable. But silence is what we have!

  2. Government allowing the sale of Opioids. Over 800,000 dead and no government official sitting in jail. Again, what we have is SILENCE!

Instead, let’s talk about all the items that can be used to kill people that should be outlawed:

  1. Planes
  2. Gasoline
  3. Knives
  4. Automobiles
  5. Swimming Pools

Did you catch this in the link by the CDC?

But let’s not talk about outlawing automobiles or swimming pools, which motor vehicle crashes and drowning are the leading causes of death for children.
Let’s talk about outlawing guns instead, which kills far less children in the U.S. (rolls eyes)
