Do unto yourself and others that they and you want done unto they and you.
I like it.
A slant on the golden rule? What happens when there is not much of the “real” self kind of love going on?
How does someone more or less incapable of loving self love others?
It’s actually a slant on the platinum rule:
“Do unto others as they want done to them”
But there’s a you who gives a shit. A you who needs dignity.
It’s all the same rule. Hence rainbow
I once saw a platinum (moonlit) rainbow. Most beautiful thing y’ever did see.
Going above and beyond the call of duty is part of the call of duty (bare minimum) because everybody wants everybody to go above and beyond the bare minimum call of duty.
that’s why love despite circumstances (quality, essence) is still self=other (duty/existantiation of being)
(valorization of duty)
multiply this
The Golden rule is mutual duty valorization.
Have you ever noticed the order of the rainbow doesn’t change?
If you did love despite circumstances (“ride or die”) without the foundation of self=other, you would be like the those who both neglected the essential parts of the law by adding extra crap (a burden that kept them away from the essential parts) on top. For example, the ones who added “and hate your enemy” to “love your neighbor”, are of the same ones who added “corban” on resources as an exemption from honoring your father and mother with them. They changed the order of the rainbow & things got ugly.
