It’s the art of the fraud. He reduced his tariff on China from 145% to 30% just because they asked him. China’s tariff on American goods is 10%.
Supposedly, it was about the trade deficit between the US and China. Nothing has changed on that front from what I can see. So basically, Trump capitulated. Of course they’ll be a bump up in stock market today. Is there anyone out there that doesn’t see that he’s just playing games?
I said previously that he bluffs too much. Also, we don’t know what goes on behind the scenes.
I don’t need to see behind the scenes to see this man floundering on the scene. America’s enemies see it too. They’re not likely to give him the benefit of a doubt like you just did.
I do love how Trump thinks he can, with a wave of his hand, cause prices across the economy to radically change. The ethos here is that of a king, sovereign by divine right bestowed with near-infinite power. An executive order is not going to alter the prices of drugs across the entire economy. Sure the idea has merit. But addressing the real structural, economic and business factors would be required. Just saying “America will pay whatever anyone else is paying at the lowest price” means nothing. Prices for goods and services in the economy aren’t dictated by executive fiat.
I think he should he should tax the shit out of price gougers, and not tax the shit out of people who charge a fair price. One of those “sin” taxes. Price gouging is a sin. And it should apply to rent and the housing market in general. All necessities, including utilities and food that isn’t junk food.
Whataboutery from the fertile mind of Steve Bannen?
Are you still concerned about Pizza house pedos?
LOL. That’s funny
Trump and Farage selfservatives party.
You are blaming what the system is telling you to blame. When it is the system itself which causes rising prices.
You’ll be blaming immigration next!!
Price Gougers?? That’s like saying tax the oxygen of cpaitalism.
How do you determine what is a price gouge?
You would be taxing a phantom.
Good are sold that the price that people will buy, When the sales go down the price can be adjusted.
It’s almost like you want to live in Stalin’s Russia.
As a sculptor I use sugical gloves, and need isoprol alcohol, When COVID hit the demand for these skyrocketed, as you can imagine.
So I was forced to find alternatives.
So who would you tax as a gouger? How would you know at what point in the supply chain that so-called Gouging was happening.
Take it back to the rubber tree growers, who in open bidding find that their product is under damand and people are outbidding each other.
Then those that transport the raw rubber also find that the rubber is atracting more.. So with each part of the supply chain the price increases. By the time it reaches the market, the finished product is now 10 times the prices, and the buyer blames the vendor in the US or UK. It is THAT vendor that the government has the ability to tax, yet they claim their own profit is no more than usual. Taking them wiould simply increase the price more..
I didn’t read most of what you said. I think you can make a reasonable return on investment without twisting the knife until someone can’t even pay anymore. And I think people are smarter than to believe when somebody says, they are raising prices to “cool demand” — or because the market demands it and it’s not their fault (even though all their properties are 100% paid off and they have zero excuse, and a whole ton of passive income they don’t even know how to spend). I also think you can distinguish between essentials that are required either by the government (because laws made by people who are owned by the companies/corporations that produce these “essentials”) or to survive, ..: friggin forget it. Don’t get me started.
If you’re genuinely interested in learning about Kamala Harris as a henchperson for the abortion industry in her rise to power, a.k.a. supplier of medical tissue for the military research industrial complex… and you’re OK with the fact that I am mostly oblivious to that pedophile pizza thingy … it went over my head like “golden showers” … but I do know Epstein didn’t kill himself … let me know.
Well , it’s pointless reading what you say.
You still do not address the problem with taxing price gougers - how do your identify who and what is a price gouger.
There are a host of reason why things sell at higher prices, and lover for that matter.
A Gucci bag is made in China for $300 , and sells for $10,000. Good luck convincing your government to put an extra tax on them - or are you just going to target farmers who raise food price.
Your trouble here is that you are responding to a Trump led hysteria - a man who is in the habit of blaming everyone else but himself.
THis is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. But go ahead give it your best shot.
But if the “price gouging” stuff is anything to go by , it seems like you are in the mire of Fox/ Bannen type propaganda.
Why don’t you try reading what I wrote? Locate the word “essentials“ and practice your comprehension skills from there.
Is it bad that I have no clue who you’re talking about?

This was an extreme example but the point is the same for all good.
To have a law to tax “Price Gougers” would mean many things the US is not capable of performing.
- Price controls for a start.
- A price watchdog
- A Department to enforce..
It might have escaped your attention but the main thrust of the last 4 months has been a folding back of government, and not a push for a more communist infrastructure.
Are you a communist?
Some questions.
-
How does any of this relate to your claim , which I remind you “If you’re genuinely interested in learning about Kamala Harris as a henchperson for the abortion industry in her rise to power,”

Is it illegal in the USA to use abortive materials for science..
Three indicators of a tectonic shift in US Middle East relations
- After several weeks of airstrikes, the US and Houthis agreed to a cease-fire with the Houthis agreeing to cease attacks on shipping in the Red Sea. Significantly, Israel was left out of a deal.
- The last known living American hostage held by Hamas was released. Again, Israel was left out of the deal
- Trump is visiting three countries in the Middle East this week Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar. He doesn’t plan to visit Israel.
This represents a major rift between Trump and Netanyahu. Why? And what could be the consequences? According to Israeli Army radio, the US president stopped direct contact after being told by close aides that Netanyahu was trying to play him. Strategics affairs minister Ron Dermer’s tone during talks with top Republicans didn’t help described as arrogant. Frustrations also grew over Israel‘s lack of clear plans on Iran, Yemen, and Gaza With US -Israeli tensions rising this move signals a shift in Trump‘s foreign approach.
Meanwhile, do I need to point out that the Qatari government who are offering to gift a luxury Boeing 747 jet to Trump our big supporters of Hamas?
How will the MAGA people who were critical of Biden for not supporting Israel strong enough react to Trump’s insulting behavior toward Israel? More important what will be the geopolitical consequences of Trump‘s move?
This much I’ll say, Biden’s Israel policy seemed to be stuck in the cold warrior politics of the past. Trump has broken with that past for better or worse. US Middle East politics will never be the same. The big question will be who is zooming who? And what can Congress or the courts or anybody else do about it?
Israel have not bought him a flying fuck palace of plated gold.
From my email : The next national day of action—NO KINGS—is happening Saturday, June 14, 2025. See the link to register below:
No Kings is a nationwide mobilization against the growing authoritarianism and corruption we’ve seen from the Trump administration—silencing dissent, detaining people over their politics, ignoring the courts, threatening citizens, and handing out favors to the ultra-rich. They want to rule—but we know the power really lies with the people.
The Women’s March is also calling for community “Circus Acts” to “kick out the clowns and end the greatest shit show on earth”! See link to this event below:
Given the kind of made-for-media no-substance buffoonery Trump has been “flooding the zone” with this week, I think this response is thematically appropriate. June 14th isn’t soon enough, but of course that’s the day of Trump’s birthday military parade. Will there be clashes between the Resistance and MAGA? I think it’s a distinct possibility.
The links are to localities near me, but, these are nation-wide events happening in a city or town near you wherever you are in the USA.
