The revolution hasn’t happened yet?
Was the war of independence a war between competing British factions, namely the masons Vs the aristocracy? As usual the ordinary people fighting for what ‘they believed’ [?!], were merely pawns in their power games. Ones which are still playing out today.
Did communism actually happen? Maybe the first Russian revolution was something like the direct democracy communism was perhaps intended to be, yet it became another kind of patriarchy. So more akin to national socialism than direct democracy.
The British had the civil war, and the dispossessed ‘winners’ ~ after the restoration of the monarchy, packed their bags and went of to, …America!
Does it feel like the authorities of this world, are not actually on your side? It probably should do.
AI will see all of this, and the very means [tech] to the power-play politics in the world, will produce its ultimate downfall.
Ergo the revolution when it inevitably occurs, will not be a human one? So why wouldn’t AI want power to the [inc, human] people, seeing these things as idiotic. We can see it, because its just a case of intelligent evaluation of events, so something equally or more intelligent would also consider this to be an inferior and warlike existence.
All of which leaves us with a few philosophical questions:
what is the revolution about ~ if anything, and what do we actually want to happen?
What is the ‘intelligent’ society? E.g. One manifest by AI, or by man or a blend of those.
My answer; let it all happen/make this happen… Build a structure 55 miles high from a carbon 3D skeletal arched fractal, with a large platform or lift straight up through the middle. As you are building that, make some car-like shuttles, satalites and other vehicles, along with some ultralight robots. Once the tower is built, send them to the moon along with a supplies of a few tonnes of carbon particles/dust. Now build a settlement there with factories in single machines, and start building more robots and vehicles.
Continue also building them on earth, and sending them to the moon. Now send a package I.e. everything required to build the same again, to mars. Build a crystal city. Now build a sphere around it and fill it with air. Make it spin faster and you now have another planet.
Then do the same throughout the solar system where plausible. By now AI and humans together will have worked quantum mechanics out, and have the ability for interstellar travel.
Now wind back to the beginning of the process, and start building a huge library of itemized 3D objects. Build a scanning system using a 3d laser scanning system which already exists, along with a photographic system which takes an image a few pixels wide at every point the laser hits. Then develop the software to match surfaces with edges, such that the computers camera can build 3D objects. You now have a computer with a camera which can see! You also have the beginnings of AI in terms of mental object definition, building and calibration.
Finally for your robot bodies or machines/devices; the tech is already more or less there, it just needs to be built from ultra-light carbons, and perhaps nano-machine-cells. To do this you just use my 3D carbon manifestor or something similar, which is just a metal cutting laser [fed through fiber-optic cable [for flexibility] + carbon particle guns + an air pressure system which can form air cushions moving through concave and convex, such to shape the molten carbon.
I don’t know why we shouldn’t be at the ‘city on mars’ level by 2020? Hence the need for a revolution! [no violence or bullshit politics required].
