Love and caring also encompass the ability to say no. Support and love don’t mean they get what they want. In your example, the world was stupid to believe that because Hitler said, “Aohh, just give me Czechoslovakia, because it was ours in the first place, and I’ll go play with it for awhile” doesn’t mean you do it. If your child can sucker you that easy, then its not really being supportive. You also have to support both sides. Not just the one talking. Your kid walks up and says, “Give me 10 bucks and I’ll never ask for any more money”, are you gonna believe that? Probably not.
My utopian ideas aren’t going to happen tomorrow (although wouldn’t it be cool). We’ve got a long way to go, but we have to aim at it if we’re ever going to see it. Love and support can also be found in discipline, as such things become necessary occasionally. We do have to “enforce the peace” every once in a while, but not the way we do now. And hopefully we won’t need to go through the violence we do now to attempt this. It doesn’t mean no rules, you just have to know what the rules are.
What I meant by that is that as long as humans have been around there has always been a belligerant warlord or somekind of dictator to persuade other people into believing that they wont commit another atrocitity and five minutes later he’s signing the order to continue his plans. And this usually works because 90% of politicians are easly dooped into the lie or don’t have the back-bone to enforce what they have just agreed to.
Really if you think about you could know all the rules in the world but that doesn’t matter; what does matter is wether or not you respect or abide by the rules. I mean I could recite to you every law you could think of but it doesn’t mean crap if I dont follow them.

I would submit that every state relies on policing and maintaining discipline with force and threat when indoctrination, coercion and bribery fail.
What alters is that when a population becomes accustomed to a certain level of policing it becomes comfortable with it, it fades into the background and each individual lives in the supposition that he is at liberty to say and do as he likes, when he cannot. Then the level is heightened, either due to internal strife and a growing dissidence or due to an external threat and a growing competition or, usually, both simultaneously since one effects the other.
Then the heightened security measurers focus the mind of every citizen on the ever present Big Brother and he mistakenly believes this is a nascent policing state when it is simply a previous normality raised into consciousness.
When flying in an airplane, for example, the ear is first made uncomfortable and then grows accustomed to the background noise of the engines.
If this noise is suddenly made louder it perceives this alteration in comparison to the previous environment as being noisy, when it was noisy all along.

Personally, I’m hoping that mass interbreeding wouldn’t be necessary, but I do see the rationale there. It’s unfortunate that human beings are constantly seeking to outdo, take advantage of, and manipulate each other in horrible ways.
Mixing all the races of the world doesn’t matter because lets face it there can be a black person who acts as white as the whitest white person and vice versa. what I’m getting at is that race doesn’t matter what does matter is culture, which will never happen for one main reason which is.

This idea of mixing up our blood really isn’t very practical. It’s not a real solution. We, human beings are attracted to who we are attracted to. It’s not so much culture as it is tribal. We have affinities with certain people and - ah it’s a complex reason - we move in certain circles. I have demonstrated this time and again. I travel a lot, I have lived in quite a few places in my life. It seems at this stage that the people that I encounter, my ‘network’ are all from the same ‘tribe’. People that I’ve gathered from my whole life. I have a core group of friends. These friends seem to move in and out of the two main countries that I do. Friends of friends, someone I have met in say Thailand who knows someone that I know from Japan. Six degrees of separation. Increasingly I meet people that I swear I have met before. (There are a million and one reasons for this - not least reincarnation and karma).
No we can’t say from now on we will mix up cultures. No, the real issue is not making us all the same but recognising that we ARE already the same!
There is nothing wrong with each of us as we are. A flower doesn’t want to be a tree, yet a flower and a tree live in harmony together, each fulfilling their individual role. An oak tree doesn’t want to be a palm tree, but they can live side by side in perfect harmony.
There is something inherent in all human beings which makes us the same! PEACE IS NOT A DECISION, IT’S A REALISATION!

There is no easy solution. I wish there was. I have thought for a long time trying to think of something. We face a much larger problem here. We face hatred based on skin color, religious denominations, and politics. Lifestyles and cultures. We have to examine why the differences in these things make so much difference. I don’t have an easy answer. But, I believe that we must look for a long term solution to the problem. The band-aid theory hasn’t served us well in the past, and history is there for us to learn from . Experiences build the future.
Appeasement, no. We don’t give them what they want. But, we don’t do the same thing to them either. Hate breeds hate. They commited a foul act against us. One I do not condone. But, if we do it to them, we’re playing by their rules. We’ve gone to schoolyard level of dealing with problems. We must treat the cause not the symptom. Like I said, not an easy solution. But, we must educate people that these are no reasons to kill other people. Both our side and theirs. We treat the rest of the world with a certain amount of disdain, this much is true. Other countries don’t get a chance to talk to all of us and know how many Americans disagree with what’s being portrayed by us. We are not separate from them. This is the key difference. We are all part of the human race and should treat each other like it.
If this could be done, it might have already. I agree that there must be some responsibility there, but America doesn’t portray the image that we do this either. We as a nation may say we promote equality and fairness in the world, but we don’t walk the walk to match the talk. We are all to blame for the things that happen. It’s a long hard solution, which I don’t foresee happening like that, but its a goal. Do I believe it’ll happen in my lifetime, most likely not. But again, its something we should strike for.
They believe what they believe in part due to us. I may be a US citizen, but we are all world citizens. We have a long way to go. We cannot even treat animals, trees and other parts of the planet like they are a part of this planet, how do we expect to treat other people like it too? It’s a problem we must start facing now, so that down the line we actually can do it. Again, there is no easy solution. We can’t give into them, but we must not retaliate in such a way as to keep that sentiment that they have now going. The cycle must be broken. We all need to band together or this will never work.
