The selection process, a tale of myth and wonder…
After death we would exist in a world in which we know we still exist [if et al]. We would also know a greater reality, because we have experienced the universe [this life], and are now experiencing the otherworld ~ whatever that may be.
We can assume that another world would have interactions, events, behaviours, and some manner of purposes. Needs, and the utilities to facilitate them.
In this otherworld, with a knowing of the then otherworld ~ our universe [old life], one would naturally do things to affect that otherworld, such to aid ones endeavours. If you had the utility of knowledge brought about via existential transcendence, you could potentially know how the greater reality is stitched together.
