The Speakers Plan B (Three Stooges)

The president wants x amount in taxes. The speaker wants to reduce spending. They can’t agree. So the speaker comes to the rescue by offering less than x amount in taxes for a reduction in spending. It reminds me of the three stooge routine.

Stooge 1) “I’ll give ya 500 dollars for the car”
Stooge 2) “No, that won’t cover it.”
Stooge 1) “Okay, I’ll give ya 300. Deal?”

Anyway, we are going over the scary cliff. The speaker and the president are now jockeying for blame avoidance. Good show. The effort to reach a deal almost looks convincing.

Yes, but it's more like the shtick "who's on 1st, who's on second, or third? Their quibbling your're right is a show. But who is really on second? I am afraid it's the same behind the scene's player- the Fed.

No, I dont agree. We are a crowd with services. We have enough. A new civilization.
