The transcendence of quale [exists prior to universe?]
In the universe we have many sets of patterns such as music, the EM spectrum. We also have corresponding qualia by which such things mean something to us. The big question is weather or not they arrange themselves or are arranged by something.
I think I/we have shown that quale are not physical but pertain to the physical [possibly not mental either]. As such there is a communication and relationship between the physical world, the mental and of the qualaic [if different to the mental].
Yet we cannot have something from nothing, if we imagine all these features of the material and immaterial are emergent properties, we should not conclude them to arise from nothing.
Let us say that there are three fundamental metaphysical entities from which they derive; energy, awareness, quale [in the singular]. The rest are arrangements of such.
We also need something which arranges them, the most likely candidate is information which communicates in patterns.
For me, information is the transforming factor.
As it communicates in patterns, couldn’t we say that the universe arranges itself and is arranged primarily and overtly [as concerns emergent properties] by a set of such patterns. That there are probably sets of fundamental patterns to which music [of the spheres [when experienced as quale]?], the EM spectrum and the periodic table etc are arranged ~ prearranged!
Quale are non physical, so are only affected by the physical as determined by their relationships with the physical. In short, if e.g. a given sound is called for by physical vibrations, then assumedly it hasn’t appeared from nothingness, thus ‘an essence’ of that sound was already there in some manner. It seams as if there is an invisible partner to all quale.
Without babbling on too much, can we assume there to be some set of quale which were there prior to universe? Do they arrange the fundamental informations or are they arranged by them?
Or
Are there some other set of eternals by which all others are arranged? I.E beneath even the most covert layers of informations and quale.
Is there nothing from which all things derive, or is there something from which all things derive!
