Theory: Sexual Capitalism

For example people with weird sexual fetishes, as long as they are not bothering anyone else then who cares. There is a difference between that and putting others in reckless endangerment, like driving drunk. Even if you don’t actually crash into anything or hurt anyone, driving drunk should be punished because you are directly putting others in harm’s way. A lot of the sexual stuff, I am guessing, is not really causing harm to anyone or putting anyone in danger. Like how oral sex used to be illegal. Who cares. If things are mutual or if no one else is involved then it’s not an issue. Morality policing isn’t something I care about. I want to focus resources on actual crimes and actual criminals. I still find it incredible our system lets violent rapists out of prison. Even if someone kidnaps a child and assaults them multiple times, that person is going to be released from prison at some point. Same with murderers. What a complete joke. Our society would be 95% safer if we lock such people up forever and throw away they key. Most violent crime is committed by repeat offenders anyway.
