But men can’t?? And what is the rate of murder by men of women, compared to the other way round? Murder. Rape. Serious assault. You name it, yet it’s MEN who hate women because of their hurty wurty male entitled ‘feelings’. It’s hardly women’s fault when men are unattractive to them.

Back in the day when there were numerous posters on Satyr’s Forum, Know Thyself, before it was warned about it’s content , ie death threats and remarks (similar to Mr. A’s to you) someone reported it and they had to clean up their act, the abuse was horrendous, especially from Lyssa.
One of the many posters was Joker (Mr. A) same sad sack story, living in the wild, just enough for a recharge on his phone. LOL.
There was a poster, Wendy, who generously invited him to come live with her. He did and managed to pull himself up by his boot straps got work in a factory? Every day she would write what was for dinner, but after a couple of months she announced they were no longer together and it seemed as though she was very sad.
This is going back a few years now some of the details may not be precise but that was the general picture.
He had moved on.

I didn’t say that. And in posts before that my position is pretty clear on an abstract level about men and women. I love how one can be taken as being binary one way and then binary the other way in the space of 10 posts. It’s like everyone is a sniper trying to determine team membership in crisis so they can shoot or not shoot as soon as possible.

In other words, you could go back a tiny bit and read what I wrote. You don’t understand the idea that people can be taken as binary when their position is not binary? Good effort!

I see. If I think that both men and women can be terrible people, but men hold the primary positions of power and so when they are terrible it causes more of the problems in the world, you are a fence sitter. Man, you’re both an asshole and a moron. I agree with your position vastly more than I do Mr. Authoritarian, but you can’t be bothered to even read a couple of posts to find that out. You’d be a great asset to any group. I’ll ignore you from here on out.

I almost want to say the fictional genre of romance over the historical centuries is the female strategy of baffling men with bullshit.
It’s a sexual control mechanism by women used as a lure where in reality they’re valuating men by money, power, social status, and physical appearance. Virtually everything they say that they supposedly care about is bullshit.
Shallow material narcissism and sexual capital is what’s for dinner here as the crux of the whole thing.

The history of Europe is interesting. Monogamy was never really enforced outside of strict social limits. A married man was basically expected to have one or more mistresses, only he was also expected to be discrete about it and not rub it in his wife’s face. Likewise, unmarried women had little choice but to try and become the mistress of a wealthy man.
It is within that context that the whole modern notion of love arose or at least spread. Think Victorian novels. Love like this can be considered a modern fiction but it can captivate women as well as men. In the end every strong human emotion is something that had to be created, this is not necessarily a mark against it. Everything that exists had to be created at some point, after all.
There are good women out there who see men and relationships beyond mere capitalism. But as you say, they are rare or at least are not the majority. I also think such women most likely end up with sub-par men who abuse them or at least shatter their nobler notions of what true romantic love should be. Let’s be honest, most men these days are not worthy of a great woman. It’s a vicious circle. Not enough good women leads to not enough good men, leads to not enough good women, leads to. Chicken or egg? I personally blame feminism, so… egg. But then again wasn’t it men who went along with feminism and even certain men who helped push and develop it?

Loving and caring in an individual woman is not excluded by them also being to some degree materialistic. Just as it isn’t in men. The real issue is can a man find a woman who treats him with a similar level of humanity and love that he will treat her. And so for any individual woman. If you think that most men are without narcissistic, materialistic qualities, we live in different worlds. There are a number of ways to value others through instrumental reason. I’m sure you know that men have different and overlapping with women’s ways of not dealing with the opposite sex like they are human and loving them. Both can see the other as a thing, a producer, an object, a surface and give the other value only for transactional traits, even if there are differing foci. Each of us does not need the majority. We need to find the one that our level of humanity is reciprocated. Many men and women are happy to be treated mainly in a transactional way. And then there is a spectrum of degrees.
Me personally, I know that there are very few people I could live with and love for a longer period of time. And of those, well, call me romantic but I think there is only one who really can meet me and be what I want and need and love. We can stay up in the clouds hating the opposite sex in generalities (which both sexes do especially in groups). Or one can get down to the ground and try to find someone to love and be loved by.

That picture of homeless bro with the three baddies is unfair, Mr. A. The lumpenproletariat in the west is, indeed, a phenomena belonging strictly to capitalism. However, the vast majority of citizens are working class… and there is an abundant supply of working class baddies that will settle for the working class johns that never become rich. Baddies aren’t exclusive only to the bourgeoisie… and there’s no special quality added to an upper-class baddie that working class baddies don’t have. Unlike men, women rarely have great degrees of intellectual difference between them, and the ones with the diamond bracelets are very usually just as dumb and uneventful as the broke working class baddies.
There’s basically only two kinds of females: sexy and ugly. Now, because there are way more hos than johns, the wealthy johns get only a fraction of the working class average intelligence hos… leaving a large number behind for the broke johns.
