We all start from First Principles and the first prinicples of the United States are not shared. That is the source of almost all arguments I see. And I am a college professor so I see arguments all the time.

All men created equal

Endowed by their Creator with unalienable rights

Government exists to protect those rights.

Thanks mainly to Obama, Hillary, and esp Biden we have milllions of useless arguments

only one in three Americans (36 percent) can actually pass a multiple-choice test consisting of items taken from the U.S. Citizenship Test, which has a passing score of 60

So in conclusion, 1) we don’t know the first principles of our Founding

  1. We say ‘this is right’ or “this is moral” or “this is legal” with no knowledge of what those mean for the country we actually live in.
  2. we are letting immigrants in who hate the Founding and who , if they don’t hate, will not know what the USA is based on for years and years and years if ever.
  3. ============

There is a spiritual problem more basic but this will do for now.+

a) How do you know, professor?
b) Are you talking about all immigrants, or some immigrants?
c) The American people could try to lead by example, but if they don’t know the first thing about the founding principles, how is that going to happen?

Sorry, but you seem to agree totally with me :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: Either you know differently or you don’t know at all but why ask 'how I know" it is irrelevant..But I will answer anyway. Worked for a couple decades in computer field as a consultant.Many big companies, Governernment, Banking, you name it. Was also a student in my late 30’s and later a teacher for 10 years.

as to the immigrant qustion you unwittingly make my point :wink:We know that among millions there will be terrorists, druggies, criminals etc. So we know that but don’t know the extent and that is very bad.

We did almost universally know the Founding Principles until schools (thanks to 2 TERRIBLE educators )turned on the Founders, John Dewey and Woodrow Wilson. I am trying at my college to revive Civics and you should do your part where you can.

There is no more prevalence of drug use and crime amongst immigrants than there is “natural” Americans. If there is, it’s because they have been sidelined and excluded.
