But I also think a thing that you discounted before many posts back that I am loathe to retrieve: that there are things between us and God that aren’t currently considered possible or aren’t known and mapped and exist, by the grace of God, yes, but in that same way that all physics does. Not exclusive of Jesus, of direct miracle, but simply as part of that Great Space, like Earth.
That’s I think one thing Catholics have on our protestant bretheren: how much more immense of a scope we see in God (usually).
I don’t disagree with you that there is much more to come, and I think it is ridiculous to make this a catholic / protestant thing. I think it is just abused and manipulated by the secular world to justify things like gain a function research that has absolutely nothing to do with God and therefore results in loss of function, if not consent violation.
That’s really all I’m saying. It’s not as simple as photosynthesis and Jesus.
There is an infinite range to God’s creation, even before you factor extraordinary intervention.
By the way, you didn’t directly say this but I interpreted it and agree: science, and anything else, devoid of the sacred, of the level of sanctity, of God, is harmful to the practitioner. It’s actively empty.

I don’t think I’m starting that thread, Ichthus. It’s too long and knarled of a subject, and I don’t expect much good will. Also, the Evangelium is Catholic, that is the Catholic scripture on Jesus. It was once the only Christianity, do remember. Well and Orthodox, but they use the same material.
I might start it. By the time I work up the steam and get the engine running, you will probably have lost interest.
Also, I just now realized that I was sleepy drunk and misread the question. What I think the Evangelium is is the Biblical account of Jesus. So there no thread needed.
