Tell me what you think, from any perspective, any religion, how you are saved and why. I say “saved” meaning reaching Heaven or Paradise or The Afterlife. Whatever name you have for it. Tell me.
You’ve gotta bribe St. Peter!
I have an idea, but I’m sure its far from the actual truth.
I suppose no one will know until the question of life is followed by it’s answer.
My guess would be that it involves some surrendering. Surrendering to the mysterious so as to reach complacency with your existence. Surrendering to a power above your own. Surrendering to your imperfections, but acknowledging the perfection of existence. By perfection, I mean our attempt at the thought of perfection. None of us knows what perfection is, yet we search for it. Why search for something that will always be incomprehensible to man. Words are wonderful tools when used to transfer ideas from man to man, but they block the way to the actuality of serenity. Our thoughts reach beyond words once the words have done the best they can. Follow your feelings. There is much that is unknown.
How can we hold contempt for a creator that we know nothing of without proving our own ignorance? How can we investigate that which is inocognizable?
My friend you have so many years here on earth. Why not find your salvation here, now.
Love. Love. Love. Love. Love. Love. Love. Love. Love. Love. Love. Love. Surrender to love. That mystry. That power above you. That perfection.
Heaven and hell is very real. It is here amongst us written all over our physiognomies. Those that are in heaven are dancing with the divine mystry of love. Love for whatever. Their work, their children, their parents, their spouse, their dog, knowledge… If you want to be saved, I repeat love.
In essence…
