I literally have zero clue what I’m talking about here, so bear with me.

Remember when the United States adopted the gold standard & like 30 years later, abandoned it? You know, like, the great depression and all that?

Remember William Jennings Bryan, that Looney Tunes cuckoo banana birds McGee?

Remember how the housing bubble blew everything up shortly after 9/11?

Remember Trump and all this fiat bullshit (pardon my global public health stimulus—forget real priorities, like income based housing development, that actually needed that money and would’ve solved long-term problems if you aren’t addicted to profit) that has been the case since the 1930s?

Weird, huh? What’s the 2030 reset all about, anyway?

@Ichthus77

They think it’s going to be a reset they can control forcing everyone into a global system of tyranny but instead what they’ll actually get is total civilization collapse.

That’s my current philosophical gamble and bet with anybody familiar with my thoughts on the subject.

Hello, Mr. Clown. I viewed your hidden reply due to the fact that I have you blocked. Don’t let them turn you into rentable human capital. Oh, no, wait, it’s too late.

What’s the third alternative between:

  1. owned and therefore you need only supply their bare essentials for free
  2. rented and therefore you can hike up the prices on all their bare essentials and still almost pay them nothing

What if I want to be neither rented nor owned, I demand fair compensation, and I refuse to pay too much for my bare essentials?

Deported? Exiled? Evicted? Exported? Expelled? Excommunicated from the academy? Quarantined? Digitized? …’cause I don’t think that last one is actually a thing.

You have me blocked? Damn, that’s cold.

I don’t have anyone here blocked.

Mr. Clown? That’s funny.

I would say your desire for fairness would only work in a society that values it but clearly the societies like ours doesn’t at all.

Our values are encoded in our laws and their enforcement or lack thereof… by our I mean those who get to make and enforce the laws, and those who get to transgress them as if they did not apply to them.

…especially if the cameras are not on them at the time.
