I am concerned that I could reincarnate in the UK in the future as a UK citizen. Reincarnation exists so this is everybody’s problem. Maybe you could reincarnate there too.
I have British genetics as well making it even worse, because I feel embarrassed of my own genetics, but worse than that, I’m concerned that there is a genetic component to reincarnation, making the odds of ending up in Britain more likely. However, in the future, British people may no longer be the majority in Britain anyway, so I’m not sure.
It is pretty disgusting–one of the major reasons I abandoned the Liberal-Left in my 20s …their outlandish willingness to Censor, Ban, Anti-Free Speech, Etc.
He’s a liar and a conman sure, but worse tyrant on earth? Surely there are African dictators more tyrannical than he is? What about North Korea? Doesn’t the UK and China have less freedom too? What about Russia?
Vege hates Hamas and Hamas-supporters, but conveniently, when American Leftists rally around their new martyr, she suddenly shifts sides… isn’t that interesting? Where people draw their own political boundaries and allegiance.
Your one is hell-bent on starting a nuclear war. No one else is doing that. Which countries has North Korea invaded? It keeps to itself, just like pretty much everyone seems to be able to do except for your arsehole of a country.
You’re the one retreating from the UK “Philosophy” forum to the American one, protected by Free Speech, then you have the gall to criticize our government?!
The United States and Israel JSF destroyed Nuclear Facilities of a dystopian Iran regime government, in order to prevent hypothetical nuclear warhead development of Iranian regime. Are you saying that you do not approve of the bombing of these Nuclear Facilities? I understood their objectives were to decrease the chances of nuclear war.
Its not about mere invasion but atrocities of the NK government.
List of North Korean atrocities:
Prison Camps (Kwanliso)
Up to 200,000 people endure brutal conditions in camps like Yodok and Camp 14, where entire families face “three generations of punishment” for perceived disloyalty. Inmates suffer deliberate starvation, forced abortions, infanticide, rape, and public executions, with mortality rates from malnutrition and labor exceeding 40%. The UN’s 2014 Commission of Inquiry detailed these as systematic state policies.
Mass Executions and Public Killings
Public executions target dissenters, border crossers, and even minor offenders, such as watching foreign media, often before crowds of thousands. Historical events include the Sinchon Massacre (35,000 claimed deaths in 1950) and Sunchon tunnel massacre (68 deaths). Recent reports note firing squads for factory owners using smuggled phones.
Forced Labor and Starvation
Millions face state-imposed forced labor in ordinary prisons (kyohwaso) and camps, leading to deaths from exhaustion, disease, and engineered famines. The songbun caste system discriminates by loyalty, denying food and opportunities to lower classes. UN findings link these to policies under Kim Jong-un, continuing from prior leaders.
Other Systematic Abuses
Enforced disappearances, including abductions of foreigners and repatriated defectors subjected to torture.
Suppression of religion, with executions of clergy and church closures since the 1950s.
Gender-based violence, like forced prostitution in kippumjo units and ethnic forced abortions on repatriated women.
I understood the Philosophy Now forum closed down, she did not move here out of choice but of no choice.
The Renee thread’s outcome not be decided by politics. It is about the Law. Judges are supposed to be non-partisan and not Democrat or Republicans. We see that when people have a political bias, they cease to be objective and see their own distorted reality.
Do you actually think that bombing another sovereign nation’s territory in a preemptive effort to prevent “…hypothetical nuclear warhead development…” is going to lessen Iran’s resolve to develop nuclear weaponry and then actually use it in revenge against those who bombed them?
Do you think the Trump regime would have invaded Venezuela if Venezuela had a nuclear arsenal?
Do you think that Russia would have invaded Ukraine if Ukraine had held on to the nuclear arsenal it possessed after the collapse of the Soviet Union?
According to AI Overview (bolding for emphasis mine)…
Ukraine inherited the world’s third-largest nuclear arsenal after the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991, possessing nearly 1,900 nuclear warheads and delivery systems, but it transferred them to Russia by 1996 in exchange for security assurances under the 1994 Budapest Memorandum, becoming a non-nuclear state.
Can you not understand why it would be wise and prudent (from the perspective of any sovereign nation) to want to develop nuclear weaponry, if possible, in order to protect themselves from the major bullies of the world?
You will soon discover, if you haven’t already, that this forum is not philosophy. It is a refuge for bored video gamers and lifeless people without hobbies.
You are one of the few.
It’s unfortunate, because there aren’t many philosophy forums left.
Iran will soon collapse, a rebellion is already underway and their government is on their last leg.
If you asked me last year, would I bomb their nuclear facilities, I would say no. Now let’s face the facts, Iran is a dystopian third world government religious fundamentalist dictatorship with a population in poverty. The Iran government kills and executes protesters. If such a government got a hold of nukes it would not be good for the safety of the world.
Yeah of course Daniel J sides with you and not me, cause you have no fucking point at all, in fact it seems like you are even agreeing with me but don’t even realize what you’re saying.
My original point was I WAS TALKING TO SOMEONE ELSE (not you) and how she was saying the US wants nuclear war… My argument was that The us does NOT want nuclear war and then you are disagreeing with me but all your arguments seem to be agreeing with me… its all over the place.
@RealUn another example of this place being what it is…
@daniel_j_lavender Ironically daniel j is right about this place, but wrong about me…
