Well at the very least…its contradictory to buddhism so that is the confusion
No, nonsense, women and females are sweet innocent angels incapable of doing any wrong at all. All the problems of the world is because of those evil wicked men or males, women are blameless in everything. Silly me.

You kidding? That implies everyone in asia is buddhist
Buddhism is about impermanence of the body…how worldly things are beyond what matters.. including biological essentialism
oops i replied to the wrong one hehe
i meant that to:
Yes thats right! NO citizen is to blame for the state of the world!!! And where did i say it was mens fault..? I said misogynists..Not men… are you admitting all misogynists are men? I would never say that ![]()
Today, modern feminism seems to have overcome all the challenges which were originally set out to tackle.
The focus of Western feminism is no longer finding equality between men and women, but has been reduced to “catcalling is sexual harassment, it makes women feel uncomfortable!”
It used to be about improving the conditions for women in less developed nations, helping women to liberate themselves from oppressive societal structures and invaluable in countries in Africa, the Middle East, Asia, where women are subjected to acid attacks, forced marriages, female genital mutilation.
My impression today is that the majority of people labelling themselves “feminist”, at least in the Western hemisphere, is purely female supremacy lobbyism.
I don’t know if they are in the majority, but they certainly are the loudest. Having worked in a primarily feminine environment, I found that while women understandably wanted recognition for what they did, they also wanted a man about. When the job of supervisor came up, I was selected from the team, although I always said that women were my best teachers in nursing.
I soon noticed the difference because I wasn’t able to completely emulate their instinctive pragmatism coupled with empathy, and was soon thinking from a meta perspective, voluntarily doing the messy jobs, or those that required a bit more physical strength, but we harmonised and learnt as a team to work complementarily.
That is the way my 50-year marriage works, too.
or perhaps you perceived how they (female supremacy) perceived you…voluntarily doing the messy jobs,…
That deserves a
!
I did become their boss, so I think it was a recognition of solidarity rather than feminine supremacy. I discovered that I could do the messy jobs, I could treat the serious wounds, the skin cancer dressings, deal with excessive bleeding, and I was calm in emergencies, so it was normal for me to do that. As a ward leader, I was all about discovering what strengths and weaknesses my staff had and developing equality despite our diversity.
You’re all trained nurses aren’t you? What exactly do you mean by ‘diversity’? My god I’ve come to loathe that fucking word.
I’m one person, dear, I don’t use the royal plural.
Strengths and weaknesses, young and old, male and female, examined and auxiliary, experienced and new, as well as cultural backgrounds. People are very diverse.
People are people, and sick people in hospitals need medical professionals. You just had to shove your wokery into the equation. A broken leg is a broken leg in any ‘culture’. A hospital should be secular and neutral.
You look for things to object to, don’t you?
I don’t need to look. Annoying people are everywhere.
What’s annoying about hospices and terminal care?
No. Opinions are subjective ideas. So, use language properly. Anyway, picture that it could be that way - no problem, to avoid confusion just be clear and say ‘opinion’, since it is the same, to you
Ideas refer to things that exist or don’t. When the idea refers to something that exists, it’s a truth.
The sky is green.
Ummm psuedoai an opinion is a reaction or preference of an idea
ex: my shower is too hot for you but perfect for me
so if im not lying about my shower preference , opinion is a subjective truth
I said ‘people’, but since you brought it up, in civilised society there would be little need for such places because there would be decent access to euthanasia (which you are undoubtedly against
). Cue tedious non-arguments about ‘killing off granny’.and all the rest of the christian propaganda bullshit. They can shove their ‘suffering for Jebus’ crap up their arses. They are welcome to suffer all they want to. That’s THEIR choice. Well maybe ‘granny’ wants to be ‘killed off’. What the hell is the point in prolonging a person’s agony, be it physical or mental? And hospice care can’t help the dying with their mental pain which is arguably worse than the physical because it can’t be treated.
Who wants to end up an abused old person in a ‘care’ home? It’s pretty much guaranteed in those evil places.
That’s why you can clear it up by referring to your idea, literally, since you confuse opinion for taste.
For example, if I think I’m Napoleon, and I’m not Napoleon, you would say that it is truth that I am Napoleon, and that I am not. Looks paradoxical when it’s just a lack of precision
