Philosophy should start out at the core of what’s important. Philosophy should also be clear. So I will first define the terms, in relation to my own philosophy.
Soul - Disembodied consciousness, implying some sort of control and minor degree of built in consciousness
Ou - Disembodied consciousness, does not have consciousness without existence imposed on it
Structure - Form. Could mean immaterial or material. A structure which is immaterial but emerged from material could be considered consciousness.
Material - Pertaining to the material realm, the outside world, physical reality.
Immaterial - Pertaining to imagination, fantasy, qualia, inconsistent physics, and invisible qualities.
Ultimate Reality - The totality of all experience. So if we die, and become a lizard, both are human lives and lizard lives are Ultimate Reality. A distant star that is 1000 miles away that we never see is not Ultimate Reality. But if we imagine a star in our minds it is still Ultimate Reality.
Exist - Something that is a contrast. If a tree falls in a forest with noone around, it exists.
Ultimate Existence - Experience. If a tree falls in the forest, with noone around, noone experienced it. Therefore it does not ultimately exist, and is not Ultimate Reality. (Unless the ground is sentient.)
One - (Pronoun One.) Any sentient being.
Sentient - Anything with the ability to experience Ultimate Reality, anything with a soul or “ou”. Currently, I can only know that I am sentient.
P-Zombie - Something that gives off the vibe of sentience, but does not have sentience and does not experience Ultimate Reality.
Self-Awareness - Higher form of consciousness, the ability to look in a mirror and recognize one’s self.
Unconsciousness - A lower form of consciousness, dominated by instinct, without thinking about rational decisions or examining one’s self.
Coma - Temporary non-sentience. Use this in place of the word “unconsciousness” in discussions.
Occam’s Razor - Two meanings - Stick to the most plausible or simple solution. Or, use the most understandable message without resorting to superfluous words or unneeded references.
Meaning Making - Two meanings - Twisting ideas to suit half-truths or create connections. Or, creating meaning in life, like money or special purpose, so that one can live life asleep ignoring ultimate things.
Death - Bodily death
Annihilation - The cessation of consciousness and Ultimate Reality
Rebirth - Birth into a new body upon death
Recurrence - Usually means a repeat of history, ie. ignorant civilizations are doomed to repeat their same mistakes.
Eternal recurrence - Birth into the same body upon death, going back in time, similar to the Groundhog Day movie.
Hypothesis - Use this word at all times when describing some new theory that hasn’t been peer reviewed.
Theory - Use the word to describe hypothesis that have passed peer review are are supported by facts.
Model - Used to make simulations or predictions based on theories.
Fact - Something to be rarely said.
Truth - Usually refers to Ultimate Reality.
True - Usually refers to physical reality.
Ego - The part of your mind that does meaning making.
Heirarchy
Enlightenment - I believe that the first stage of Enlightenment is knowing that “you” are a robot, and that yourself does not make free-will type decisions. But then I realized the second part of Enlightenment was knowing that you are your self, and there’s no way to escape that your self is explicably you, the absurdity of consciousness. The absurdity of being trapped in a flesh brain without apparent cause.
Disney seems to be doing a propoganda campaign of desperately meaning making, giving hope and purpose to kid’s lives. So does all the other institutions, NASA, religion etc. It’s all a waste of time and we are losing recruits. True geniuses know that life is suffering and the only important matters are death, consciousness, and rebirth. Anything else is meaning making, a waste of time distraction keeping people distracted and unaware of our goals, uncooperative to the goals of Genius. The only way NASA would help anybody is if found aliens which could teach us about consciousness.
Meaning making is like a fulfillment. You make up goals so you can feel fulfilled until the next goal, at which point you make up another goal to fill the void of the last goal. It’s utterly pointless. The only thing that matters is death, consciousness, and rebirth. And unless you are planning on making an eternal utopia, you aren’t doing us any favors. Your politics, wars, and stock markets will not save us from recurrence. Will your religion save us from rebirth? You cannot even answer, yet you erect temples, like howling apes. At the end of the day, on a job well done, you feel like you accomplished something, but you didn’t really accomplish anything, death and rebirth still looms ahead for you.
Life is suffering. Therefore, the primary focus should be on medicine, because pain is bad. If there was no pain, life would be okay. Discovering consciousness would not be urgent, but just curious. After my foot injury i realized just how much pain life was. I thought I had overcome pain, trampling it, but here I was again, at it’s mercy. I wouldn’t be able to see a neurologist until the next year, and the hospital said there was nothing they could do. I realized that much of my life was emotional pain, coupled with bouts of physical pain, as well as chasing after things to satiate my craving, which is also a type of pain. When you’re in pain days seem like weeks, you tend to equate one day of pain the same as one week of pleasure, avoiding pain is worth way more than pleasure is to be sought. My pain is what I know, and I know for a fact that I exist, and that my pain is Truth, so whether or not my pain is more or less than other’s, who may be p-zombies, is not relevant. My pain is real, and it is my honest desire to not have it, Noone around me seems to care, they use logical fallacies telling me '“pain is a learning experience” or “pain is temporary, this too shall pass” or “pain is an evolutionary response, it’s just nature” or “I have more pain, so your pain is not valid.” They are all fallacies and does little to shed light on what pain really is. I am unsatisfied with all the explanation that pain is simply that which we avoid. What is the exact relationship between the configuration and function of neurotransmitters and how does this relate to the immaterial sensation of pain? There seems to be a serious inability for me to self-analyze on a micro-structural level. For example, we know that some words convey things better, like we know “splendor” is distinctly different from “glamour”, and it conveys this idea. But why this is, I cannot say, is it because instinctual guttural sounds, is it because we’ve made word associations over the years, or is there an embedded awareness inside our very being? The process of life seems very disturbing. It just seems to pump out flesh brains with eyes and optic nerves, with a fragile nervous system, intended to generate pain. It is quite obscene and disgusting. If I had a finger for each time I had pain, I could not breathe because I would be covered in fingers, head to toe. There is no reason for this pain, other than Darwin’s obscene process of natural selection, a rejection of nobility and spirituality, in place of “might makes right.” It is wholly unconscious, if I had a hand for all the people who caused me pain for no rational reason, who’ve either through neglect, or interference, caused me great harm, it’s staggering, unbelievable. And you want to take these people, and just show them how much pain they’ve caused you, so they understand, but there’s just no way they ever will, they are completely, mind bogglingly unconscious, with an empathy even lower than the animal. Ignorance is not a defense, ignorance is a produce of meaning making. An animal still suffers, it’s ignorance of medicine does not save it. Ignorance of medicine causes it to suffer more. Therefore medicine should be our top priority of Genius, because through medicine we can accomplish a few key important things.
But before we get to why we should invest in medicine we must first investigate more of what meaning making is. Meaning making is like Disney, It gives them bullcrap stories and gives them purpose in their lives. Most of the purpose is stupid, and ego based, like feeling special because they got a promotion, or because they have a suit and tie, a nice house, a nice car, all stupid things that give them meaning to their lives. Disney made a bullcrap story about a Lion King, which gives people delusional beliefs about things, just like Burger King or Arby’s gives delusional beliefs about meat eating being something pleasant, or even comical. It’s a bit like the Joker going on stage, and then killing people, as if it was something pleasant or comical. It’s funny how the human brain works that way. We are prioritized more on emotions than logic. Our morality is emotional based, not logic based, and therefore there is a lot of suffering in the world, because our morality is illogical and full of paradoxes made to contour emotions rather than logic. Humans don’t reason like the word sapiens (meaning Wisdom) implies. Instead they go about their meaningless lives, desperately meaning making every chance they get. And this is why meaning making, and Disney is bad. It teaches them false values, like “life is good” and “Lions are happy.” In reality, all male lions are exiled from the pack at an early age, and most of them starve to death or get killed by hyenas. Then, the lion who survives, returns to the pack, kills the alpha male and rapes one of the lionesses. Then, he kills off the remaining descendents of the alpha (little children). The females he does not rape, remain virgins the rest of their lives, never getting any male love since the remaining males are exiled or killed. This is life, life is brutal, life is suffering. You are so inherently unconscious that you do not even think twice about eating a cheeseburger, you could care less about the potential pain you could cause. When you reject a nerd who asked you to the skating outing, you could care less about the potential pain you will cause him. You refuse to see the possibility of actually getting to know him and even liking him. The only one you care about is yourself. This is why Disney is bad, it paints a false picture of reality.
However, if one is a sage, one is granted some ability for hypocrisy, for example, one is allowed to enjoy cartoons, like the My Little Pony show, as it is a kind of cartharsis. It could be argued that it actually helps you realize just how broken reality actually is. It does not paint a terribly false picture, beasts are still beasts, except if they are more sociable equines. However it does present a nigh unobtainable utopia, of a place where adult females are reasonable, rational, and charitable, which is usually rare in young adult women. It does depict a matriarchal tyrant sun god who is averse to deliberation and hands out cruel punishments for slight offenses, so on the other hand it is quite realistic. The show depicts young adult females who are reasonable, rational, and charitable, which is usually rare in Earth women, unless they are of older age. The reason for this is once they hit middle age their sexuality peaks. Rationality seems to be a function of having a healthy sexuality, therefore sexuality may be a positive force.
The reason for meaning making is that it usually often causes unconsciousness, ie. a culture of sleeping sheeple. It is a culture where emotions rule, deep thought is rarely exercised. For example, the motivation for astronomy and NASA, seems to be rooted in a childish fascination with the stars. The motivation for the Big Bang Science is curiosity. But there doesn’t seem to be a goal past that. It seems rudimentary. The goal of life is to not suffer pain. It is really that simple. If there wasn’t any pain in life, then Genius would have no need for an end of rebirth, no need to teach the world anything, and no motivation for Enlightenment. It would be a magical world, where everyone lived in eternal bliss, where there was no threat of asteroid, or burning out of synapses. It would just be it. But that isn’t practical, we live in a bad world, and so the primary goal is to avoid pain. Everybody’s end goal is the same, to avoid pain. Noble’s sacrifice themselves for the greater good or family. The greater good is that their families will have less pain. Masochists want pain, but they don’t want excessive pain. Their goal is to not have too much pain to where pain becomes a Pain. The medicine industry is our best bet. First, using their techniques, we can upgrade the brain of the homo sapiens so we can liberate them from their unconsciousness. Then, with all the combined brain power, we can alleviate all worldly pain, while at the same time, doing comprehensive consciousness research on life, death, and rebirth. Anything else is idiocy.
The question of philosophy should not be a “why”, but a “how”. “Why” encourages meaning making, to construct a response, give a special purpose. “How” is much better. “How are we here? How am I conscious of this body but noone else’s?” Are good questions. How are we conscious of this body It’s difficult to say. Part of me suspects that some people’s consciousness is so low that it’s experienced in the blink of an eye. Other times I wonder does sentience only gravitate to certain individuals? But the part that boggles me most is the absurdity of consciousness…How is a pink flesh brain generator of the immaterial? And if all pink flesh brains are equally valid generators of the immaterial, how come am I conscious of only this particular one? What is this pain that I feel, that noone can see, even I cannot see, and how is it real? Why cannot I escape from this body, why am I trapped to this body and it’s pain? I did not ask for this body so why am I in this body? What is me? If I am real, and everyone else is real, do I have to live out everyone’s single lives, trillions of animals who had bad lives? If I had never lived out a person’s life, in either past or future, then how could they be real? Or could they potentially become real, based on my interactions with them, for example only people to whom I am close have the potential to become real in a past or future life? (Real meaning sentient.) Would I have to live out all the lives of other worlds, other planets, trillions of lifeforms? No, that does not feel true to me. It does not feel true, just as I can intrinsically feel the difference between “how” and “why”. They are two different words, yet the feel spiritually leading to different things. So it is that I spiritually feel that I do not live out the lives of every person on Earth, and since I don’t live out their lives, everyone who I have not lived nor shall not live, is a p-zombie. But perhaps I already have lived out the lives of every person on Earth, and the memory vanished, as if it never was. The pain would still be real, just forgotten. Oh all of the suffering I’ve endured, the pain of a thousand life times! The cure for rebirth must be around the corner here somewhere… The tragedy is I can’t even know whether the pain even existed…which is actually quite a blessing. Something about this life seems solid, grounded, god-like, as if I am not just a random entity in a sea of other lifeforms, waiting to become a sentient with Me inside of them. Perhaps I only choose certain lifeforms, and yet, this life of mine is not wholly pleasant…Sometimes I wonder if this is all there is, no other inverse reality where things are neither physical, nor immaterial, nor exist, nor not exist. Other times I feel like my body may be the center of All Things, and that the Universe flows around me, like a blob, always changing it’s form, and that I, remain at it’s center, I, timeless, with Time flowing around me. Why am I at this moment in Time, this configuration of particulate matter?
What is philosophy? I think it is just an honest criticism, as well as a plan for the future, as well as a science. Philosophy is curious, but also logical. Philosophy is the wheel of the ship, it is the brains of the operation, it is the most important thing.
Footnotes: Reality seems so real and then a moment later it is but a wisp. What is the fleetingness of time?
