killers are glamorized. look at the bestseller list for fiction. Detectives chasing killers. And usually the book is only as successful as how interesting the killer is. Book readers love a crafty killer.
The ignorant conformist’s mantra, isn’t it? ![]()
It’s easy to say, “hey, I get rejected by girls all the time, and I’m not out killing people.”
Guys like this don’t walk up to Cindy Testaburger, the cheerleader with a 4.0 grade point average or whatever and say, “gees, uh, Cindy, you’re mighty pretty and I’d like to take you out.”
“No, your a jerk!”
“Oh, shucks, she’s real pretty too.” and then, “oh, well, I think I’ll kill a bunch of people.”
Seeing a pretty girl he’s never met with another guy he’s never met is “rejection” in his mind. Criminals think differently. They brood and simmer inside.
How you react says nothing about your insights. Of course, the world makes you mad. Of course, life gets you down. This correlates with killing 8 people in a mall, of course.
If I’m going to kill someone then their death ought to make a positive impact on society or else I’m the worthless parasite.

To this guy, yeah, this does correlate with killing eight people in a mall. He’s causing chaos in his world, which is after all the whole point.
