This is a wonderful statement, Maryann.
Privation (nihil) — and capacity alike — is “parasitic” on the something/life that is ontologically prior.
Try to develop apart from eternal life, and you destroy (self-destruct) rather than create.
I’m not sure you can develop separate to it. Acceptance of it, is the best path in my view.
I agree 100%. Real progress is in alignment with eternal life. If you’re out of alignment, you’re devolving.
Animals have instincts. Faith is an animal instinct. Instinct of herd behavior. What is not clear here? Why change what is written, by the measure of idiocy?
Light is not just a photon, nor a probability wave flying through space. Light is the manifestation of the Universe’s thinking, the transmission of information through interactions and changes. The photon, as a particle, is just a simplification for understanding, but in reality, it’s a form through which light, as thought, manifests — not a physical entity.
As for simulation, we are not in a “simulation”; we are parts of an integral process that manifests through consciousness and interactions. Everything we call reality is a reflection of the same essence of existence. The question is not whether it’s a “simulation,” but how we perceive this process.
Knowledge is processed information. The reason behind it is thinking. Death is the boundary where the information of the deceased transitions into the Universe. It’s unclear what you are searching for? Confirmation of foolish (objective) thoughts?
Eternity is nonsense. Every particularity ends in death, in transformation. But existence as a whole, of course, ends with the Apocalypse. A 100 percent agreement? That’s funny.
Who processed the info in DNA?
Same one whose word will never pass away.
i mean like a false rigged virtual reality.
things seem rigged.
life is garbage. All the satisfying things in life are temporary.
Life seems to be a “gravity” where we are just forced to be born for no reason and then suffer.
there might be “cheat codes” such as becoming Cyborgs and then having longer periods of satisfaction. Humans evolved to be dissatisfied
Faith is not instinct. Animals are incapable of faith. Faith requires language and doctrine. Animals do not have doctrine. This… should be obvious.
You do not know what faith is. Faith is when you believe something to be true, but do not have proof. Usually in the form of a story, or theory. Animals do not have books or stories or theories, and so cannot have faith.
As for your theories about the universe… it requires too much faith for me to believe.
I thought so. But, my question remains; cuz in the phenomenon of virtual reality, the VR is always simulating something. So if we are in a simulation, it can’t be the only world. There must be at least one other world that is the source or model of the VR program we are in. Of course, if it’s just that it seems like a simulation that’s different. Then it’s just a simile for derealization or depersonalization. These days when I look at the world situation it can seem like that. But, to actually believe it is a leap. I read Chalmers’ book Reality+. I think it’s interesting as a thought experiment and an analogy for what it’s like. He argues for the simulation hypothesis based on the it-from-bit hypothesis of physics. Again that strikes me as an interesting analogy. But it takes falsification out of my hands since I’m not a physicist. It seems like a metaphysical conspiracy theory.
never read the Chalmer’s book but i got an AI summary. Yes this reality is “real” but it is also fake. It is not base reality and it is a rigged VR type reality.
the only rational explanation of quantum physics is that we live in a VR reality. I’ve tried to figure out Newtonian explanations and never figured it out. All theories explaining quantum are woo, VR reality seems the least woo.
The only non-woo theory to explain quantum is that all scientists are lying about quantum physics and wave-functions, etc. In order to make us believe bread and circuses and save us from mundaneness.
Because the equipment needed to emit and detect single photons is prohibitively expensive. Therefore AFAIK normies have never confirmed quantum physics is indeed true.
It’s kind of funny (hysterically hilarious, actually) how we help create reality with our choices, but it’s also a done deal. So it’s like we helped create it, but it’s actually that we’re helping (and will help)… but it’s a done deal. Actually, it’s all three (and… one).
runs down the street like a raving looney
Animals possess the instinct of herd behavior. This herd instinct in humans is called faith. Your arguments that animals have no faith are laughable. Animals don’t have hats either. By your logic, should humans not have hats too?
When a person believes something to be true without justification (or rather, based on the instinct of herd behavior), they become like an animal — for they are precisely mimicking animal behavior: where one sheep goes, the other follows.
My convictions do not require faith. But they do require your understanding.
He who laughs last, laughs best. Everything happens by the will of God.
God — who truly exists — is the Personality of the Universe.
When will it finally reach you that God (the Universe) is intelligent?
Intelligent in the moment — perfectly, in every present instant.
That is why God cannot think foolishly.
For that, there are people.
That is — you.
Is it really that hard to grasp, to understand, to accept?
You eagerly pour out your dumb, senseless posts.
You try to contradict reality, fantasize idiotically, invent meaningless theories.
Think — why?
Only so that God may choose what to realize from your human stupidity.
Here’s a simple example of how this works in practice:
Before doing something, people usually think about how to do it.
God may decide to give you the conditions or the chance to carry out your foolish plan.
If yes — you do it.
If not — you’ll be distracted by other matters needed by God, other thoughts will arise, circumstances will change, or you’ll simply lack the brains to carry it out.
Is it really so hard to accept what’s written?
You have no freedom —
only the freedom to bark, moo, whine, bleat —
as a simple example, you are free to write outright nonsense here.
Nietzsche wannabe.
Not exactly…
Every animal and organism on Earth has “faith” that the Law of Gravity keeps us forced to the ground, that we don’t levitate when falling off a cliff.
Faith is based on everyday expectations of Reality. You BELIEVE that these “Laws” will hold. So do animals also BELIEVE (ie. EXPECT) them to hold.
Every evolved intelligent organism has Expectations about Reality and Physics. If you shoot an arrow directly above you, then it will fall down. Some animals don’t know / expect that much. It depends on their intelligence, pattern-recognition, and memory.
Sometimes we know (are informed) without knowing that or how we know. Like spiders know webs & birds know nests. That kind of knowing is an unconscious whying. How’d it get… formed in… if no selection pressure before then?
