What's the strangest success you've ever had?

It doesn’t have to be a good thing.

Getting this job I have. It started when my husband volunteered me to clean the boss’s aviary one time, then it went to twice a week and somehow, a year or two later I am an animal nanny caring for different species 7 days a week. I never applied for it, and I love it. It
has become an important part of my life, its a second family and that includes the humans. Its been a very strange ride and success.

That is indeed relatively strange success. Thanks for sharing.
I am still thinking about what my own strangest success is. Mostly I think of things like when I half seriously claimed to be psychic and challenged my friends to throw an object at me while I was blindfolded, and I neatly plucked it out of the air. Most of these “supernatural” successes are strange.

 Or you have acute directional hearing. An object thrown at any velocity will have sound and that will leave a trail for you to sense. If you want that type of strange, folks find it odd that I can figure out where a missing animal is. Of course it is best if I know the animal or human damn well. Or I can tell if any mammal is near, to a point. It just depends upon my mindset at the time. I can sense problems in another animal or human too. That too depends upon where my mind is. I think we all have these abilities to certain extents, some more some less. Senses atrophy from lack of use just as muscle does.

That makes sense. I believe that this is how the world works in general - a lot of long distance discernment, even of each others goals and values. There’s no reason why there should be a limit to propagation of information about a moving object or living entity. Discerning is all about attuning.

If we think about a certain problem a lot the circumstances in your path will be interpreted in its terms, and we’ll react to things in conscious ways that might be unconscious and much weaker if the mind were set was in a more opportunistic mode.

Wolves have psychic ability in that they trust their opportunistic instincts - psychism is the mastery of what can’t be measured in objective terms.

The strangest success I have had is to be able to come to realize that the implications of psychic energy/displacement-ability is well and alive. There have been just too many seeming coincidences which happened in my life, and more and more realisation occurs as the days and years go by, that there is so much more to what we perceive as reality than meets the eye.

Total psychic freedom is dangerous, but once that is sort of achieved, different sides of reality emerges.
The thing is, to not be afraid if and when it happens.
The perceptual/cognitive filtering apparatus works very well in assuring that all “normal” and reified patterns are kept at bay without interference, or dissonance. Only resonating vibes/patterns are allowed in.

My face on a giant flip billboard right above the latest London attraction (located in SE London) for all to see, and wondering why the whole of London has been staring at me strangely on passing by, until a pal MMS’d me it, then… ‘clarity’.

Ok that one is darn good, it made me laugh.

Kris, it made me confused :open_mouth: until my pal’s MMS that is, and total strangers still continue to stare blankly at me, which makes me think it’s still up - I’ll have to go pay it a visit to see, and take a ride in it at the same time. Fame (or is that infamy) without any money sucks though :crying-pink:

Yea that would suck. You probably got had by some teeny tiny fine print in lawyerese language on a contract… The bastards are good at that.
BTW, how many times did you check your clothes or face for something out of place when they stared??

…being head-hunted by the Bank of England at the age of 15.

 I just thought of something really silly that happened a long time ago.

When I was 13 I was on my school’s volleyball team, and while I was the best server they had and started every game, I didn’t really get along well with a lot of my teammates. One night at practice our coach was out so we had a sub, and she wanted us just to break into teams and scrimmage against one another. So there I am, about to serve the ball, and there is a girl on the other team, standing right up by the net in a setter’s place, who had been verbally harassing me all day at school and all through practice. I threw the ball up, smacked it a bit harder than usual because I was feeling distracted and irritated by all of her hollering across at me, and watched as it floated beautifully over the net and dropped right in her face just as she opened her mouth to yell something else at me.

Shut her up right quick, and was HUH-larious. Success!

I didn’t die.

One time I said “I wish I had a pencil”, and when I looked down, there was a pencil.

I was pissed off for the rest of the day, thinking of how badly I wasted that wish, and what else I could have had.
