And I know many that would. Feminists no less. Not all women have the same opinions, not even feminists. The feminists I know are femdoms, and they are completely okay with sex and sexuality in general. Really there is nothing wrong with sex. So women are sometimes made to be humiliated in mainstream porn. Who cares? Men are humiliated in femdom porn and they actually get off on it. Some women get off on humiliation too. I don’t see a problem with it if it is between two consenting adults and they are both enjoying it. Even if they film it, as long as they both agree, again, who cares? I don’t intentionally seek-out porn on the web but have come across it through ‘adult’ dating sites and such - I was curious and intrigued but that wore off very quickly as other people’s sex lives bore the fuck outta me…
I had started a job in publishing in Oct 2003, and whenever I went online, porn would pop up 
I was so embarrassed when I had to ring up the IT Helpdesk and explain my query

My husband repairs puters. From time to time folks buy used ones from someone. The people that sell the puter think they removed the porn and porn sites. Nope, The new owners get on the puter and porn eventually pops up. He has had to clean off some very very sick and wierd porn off puters. Its only really embarrassing if they knew the person they bought it from… You do not want to know that about your family or friends.

No, it was directed at your implication that women don’t like porn. There are plenty of women that like porn, and there are plenty of men who do not. The rest was a little off subject, but I was continuing on the basis that the main reason women are known to dislike porn more then men is the fact that it is degrading to them. It is degrading in one sense, but the degradation is voluntary and perhaps even desired. Really, in all actuality, it is degrading to men too.
I’ll do that, matty, and in the meantime, you might want to look up the definition of sarcasm.

I wasn’t intending to imply that no women like porn, I was disagreeing with the notion that everyone likes it. I agree with you, there are women who like it, and that is certainly their prerogative. I happen to think it’s degrading, but you’re right, it really cheapens both men and women.

Cyrene, I have no problem with consensual sex between adults. If you want to videotape your honeymoon, go for it. That’s just a home movie. But when you upload it for the world to see, then it’s porn, and in my opinion that cheapens the experience.
That’s just my own personal view - I am not trying to press it on anyone else, so let’s not get into another war here, okay?

I didn’t say sex is degrading; I said someone here is potentially degraded. If a logical argument is made against or for the cheapness of exhibitionist sex, then that potentiality will either be fulfilled or not.
