Yup. Been busy.
One could say that for the first time in five years I am actually working for the money.
She works hard for the money!

Actually, it’s been stressful. My company is underperforming and I had to layoff approximately 150 employees. There were a few friends in there… I actually had to call 50 employees at once and tell them that “today is your last day” due to various performance issues. The trouble began when we overprojected our growth for 2005 (we projected nearly 150% growth and instead ended up with like 70% growth). The overprojection wouldn’t have been so bad except we started various projects that were depending on that growth… hence the layoffs. I am glad to hear that many of these people have already found jobs.
