Thinking about gambling into startup companies. I am debating if I am going to start an investment fund or not but I figure all my studying of financial economics all these decades shouldn’t be wasted.
My goal is to make money and profit through moral or ethical investment decision strategies because ultimately if I am successful I want to change the world for the better upon any profits I make.
Startup companies are gambles in that 90% of them fail in the first couple of years, however, if you invest wisely into sustainable profit generating startup companies you can basically see profit yields of 100x initial investment. Basically high stakes Poker investing with a 90% fail rate but where the few 10% that succeed you see tremendous financial gains in a short period of time.
Overall I am still debating if I am going to pursue this business strategy or not. Created this thread to hear what others have to say on the issue.
you cannot and never will change the world for the better while thinking or believing money or profits can make this change.
Money is a completely unnecessary thing in Life, and we can all bear witness to the destruction and downfall the love of money has done to the world already.
Why is a financial gain of importance to you?
Okay.
While anyone is chasing after money, they are not going to make the world a better place.
