Noomi Rapace did finally show up for Alien Covenant, as reported by news media some weeks back. She was not meant to return (or was that ever true?), but nevertheless will feature in Alien Covenant.
What role should Elizabeth Shaw play in the film - good guy or bad guy?
I think she would be convincing as a planet, or even a press conference.
Cast
-
Michael Fassbender as David 8 and Walter One, two synthetic androids. David is an older model who was a crewmember on the destroyed Prometheus, while Walter is a newer model who monitors the Covenant.
-
Katherine Waterston as Daniels “Danny”, the chief of terraforming for the Covenant mission and the wife of the ship’s captain, Jacob Branson. She is the third in command after Branson and Oram. Waterston said she was well aware of the comparisons that were going to be made between her and Sigourney Weaver’s Ellen Ripley, but that she tried not to think about it too much while filming for fear of being intimidated.
-
Billy Crudup as Christopher “Chris” Oram, the Covenant’s first officer (then captain) and Karine’s husband. Oram is a man of faith.
-
Danny McBride as Tennessee, the chief pilot of the Covenant and Maggie’s husband.
-
Demián Bichir as Dan Lope, the head of the security unit aboard the Covenant and Tom Hallett’s husband.
-
Carmen Ejogo as Karine Oram, the Covenant’s biologist and Chris’s wife.
-
Jussie Smollett as Ricks, the Covenant’s navigator and Upworth’s husband.
-
Callie Hernandez as Upworth, the Covenant’s communications officer and Ricks’ wife; she also has paramedic training.
-
Amy Seimetz as Maggie Faris, the pilot of the lander and Tennessee’s wife.
-
Nathaniel Dean as Tom Hallett, a member of the security unit and Lope’s husband.
-
Alexander England as Ankor, a member of the security unit.
-
Benjamin Rigby as Ledward, a member of the security unit.
-
Uli Latukefu as Cole, a member of the security unit.
-
Tess Haubrich as Sarah Rosenthal, a member of the security unit.
The skull can be seen through the skin with nostrils and orbital cavities visible. It sees through its skin, hence the visual detail observed in this scene. Excellent artistic detail:

Alien: Covenant - Prologue: Last Supper
“The ‘Last Supper’ is a direct prequel to Alien: Covenant. Set aboard the Covenant, a colonization ship on its way to a remote planet to form a new human settlement, the main crew (all couples) and their android, Walter, enjoy their final meal together before cryosleep.”

Aligns categorically; chronologically, elementally and connotatively.
This was the appropriate response:
But you probably responded the way you hope someone would respond if you had asked the question, right? But you forgot to keep going back-and-forth with that consideration. Someone would only want you to respond that way if they also enjoyed being flooded every second of the day with the things you think about. You have to respond the way you hope someone would respond if you had asked the question, but you had their (consent-respecting) preferences instead of the (consent-respecting) ones you actually have.

It’s an introduction to the film. Perhaps more information should have been provided in an earlier comment.
The material is on-topic so I posted it here. I’m not flooding countless forum threads with it.

“You hear that?” … “What?” … “Nothing.”
The dialogue presented contains a shining example of sloppy language.
Nothing is not heard. What is heard, what is perceived is silence. A condition, a circumstance is perceived. Else it could not be discussed or acknowledged in dialogue.
That which is perceived is, by definition, [part of] existence. Silence is perceived. Silence is something, not nothing. Furthermore the concept mentioned, the term nothing, is itself a thing.
nuh-uhhhhhhhhhh
Is nothing not a concept? A term? A word? Something?
That which is perceived indicates existence and the term or concept “nothing” is clearly perceived in the statement above and here as well.
It isn’t an empty claim. It establishes testable criteria allowing verification of existence through perception and interaction. Nothing fails because it cannot be perceived or interacted with. The concept is not actually nothing or nonexistence. The concept, being perceived or interacted with, is existence.
This is also discussed in the Nonexistence Cannot Be section of the essay.
The concept is Biblical:
“For with God nothing shall be impossible.” Luke 1:37
