Why are there so many atheists

Why would it? Ugh. Americans are so unbearable.

You sound very liberal and British, a dangerous combination.

It’s ironic because the Big Bang Theory was a product of a Catholic priest.

There are limits to empiricism, scientific method, and materialism that cannot account for the entire human experience or existence. The mysteries, unknowns, chaotic cosmic forces, natural connections, and the transcendental is where religion along with spirituality begins.

It’s why I went from being a very atheistic nihilist young man into being a present day practicing Buddhist that I am now.

Another typical American comment. How’s life in an Idiocracy? Perhaps you should try a decent, whole food diet instead of junk.

Eternity and infinity are very difficult concepts for the human mind to perceive since our own physical lifespans are so very limited.

The materialists and empiricists will say that man is the measurer of reality or the entire cosmos where what cannot be measured through human logic and reason isn’t real.

What they fail to recognize is that in the universe humanity is merely a speck of sand in the eternal cosmic sea and our infant level measuring of reality is almost entirely inadequate.

It’s embarrassing when white Westerners cosplay as ‘Buddhists’, in their sandals and with their little man-buns. It’s like those ‘Western’ women who suddenly decide to wear burkas. You have to be born into those things. Anything else is just performative.

I’ll have to remember that with my short hair and eye glasses.

To be a genuine bonafide westerner, should I be atheist, or worship rabbi Yeshua?

You tell me being the expert on such matters.

How should I affiliate myself?

Why do you have a need to be ‘affiliated’ at all?

@VictorMcCheeseEsq

Because I choose to be.

Because after years of studying world religions and spiritual systems Buddhism for me is the single one that makes the most amount of sense. So I made the active choice to incorporate it into my life and day to day existence.

Are you aware you are a social creature engaging/affiliating, however loosely, with other social creatures?

Do you not know why?

Hey that’s cool.

Buddhism is a hard religion to follow.

To experience transjunctive induction to the glory of god’s conjunction? I could draw a diagram if that would help explain what i mean.

Are “atheists” the ones that reject the Judeo-Christian-Islamic definition of god, or any definition of god?

Any I believe.

I bet you $50 you couldn’t. You have 8 hours.

What does that have to do with my question, which wasn’t directed at you? Why are you butting in?

I drew a Venn diagram with triangles….now I’m trying one with hexagons.

Multidimensional spacetime.

Kamala Harris luved them.
