One could also just as easily ask, ‘Why is the sex drive in some women stronger and more visual than some men’s sex drive?’.
Either way, the answer to the reason for both is still the exact same.

One part must include the man was not born blind.
It is because men and women sexually select for different values.
Women need to find a man who can take care of her and her children financially, this means she selects for earning power and status. She also selects for height and strength, to ensure her man can defend her and her children.
Men need to find a woman who is fertile to have children, and who has good genes (which here means low rate of genetic mutations) to mate with, so he selects for women who are young and beautiful. Youth signifies a larger fertility window (which usually runs out for women by age 35 or so, where as men can keep making babies well into their 50s and even beyond), and beauty signifies physical health and phenotypic symmetry which is a sign of low genetic mutations and a strong immune system (to maintain symmetrical phenotype and clear skin, for example, over time in the face of environmental insults).
Also there are more complex personality factors involved, but generally those above are the main aspects. Of course there are some interesting outliers too, like for example some men select women who have large breasts whereas other men don’t care about that or select for smaller breasts. Supposedly, large breasts evolved to mirror a large butt, and both of these are biological signals of attraction. They indicate that one is capable of producing such large physical characteristics which is a way of genetically “showing off”, like a peacock’s tail, and they signal biological readiness to reproduce. Ape females for example will bend over to expose their butt to males, who will then mount them from behind. Larger butt is like a stronger attracting signal to males. This translates into breast size as well. But not all males are as attracted to large butt or breasts, there are cultural and individual genetic factors too. Some scientists think this difference has to do with r/K selection theory. I don’t know if that has been proven or not though.

The other reason men are generally hornier than women is because evolution experiments with male genes more than it experiments with female genes. Female genes are more important to preserve relatively unchanged, because the female is less expendable than the male. A male can create a dozen babies in a few days if he has enough sexual partners, in theory there is no real upper limit to how many offspring a male can have, whereas a female can only have one offspring every 9 months. And on top of that, females are still needed to nurse and rear the offspring after they are born. This is why men historically fight wars to protect their females, the women stay home and are protected while the men go fight and die.
As for why men are more visual than women when it comes to sexual attraction, I guess it goes back to how men select for mostly physical traits in women, while women select for a combination of physical and money-related traits in men. A man doesn’t usually care how much money a girl makes, he will still be attracted to her even if she is poor, but that doesn’t necessarily work the other way around. A woman can be attracted to an older relatively ugly man if he is mega rich. And likewise a woman might be interested in a guy until she learns he has a shit job and no money, then she might lose interest.

The male sex drive is strong cause our species evolved for the males needing to be “ready for it” at any given moment.
Its an evolutionary trait like a plethora of others in the animal kingdom… well… actually in all of life.
The females of homo sapiens have a limited fertility window. It was a beneficial trait for the survival of our species that the males do not have such window.
As for “visual” i have no idea what you mean by that.

I believe women have a far stronger drive. It is simply less aggressive, it gives the initiative.

Yes, as it should be. There are supposed to be very vital and meaningful valuing-standards when it comes to choosing sexual partners, especially when intended to make kids.
If you find flaws and errors, expose them and choose again.
That would be weird, considering money is a recent… non-genetic situation. I think you have to step back into what is actually being selected for so that if all money disappeared, you would still be making sense.

Perhaps the male members of the species do not realize that the female members of the species have a special radar for the “kisses and tells“ factor? We are well-familiar with how a male plays himself up and takes zero responsibility for his imperfections and blames everything on the other… since the dawn of women (who will pass that blame onto completely fictional characters).

I can relate to that being an unattractive quality. I was listening to this boy pretending he has a girlfriend and calling her stupid. I told him “wow you have pretty high standards” but what I could’ve said was “that says a lot more about your bad selection judgment, than about her”. He did get my point the way I said it the first time and amended the way he was talking slightly. I could’ve also said “because only stupid people would date you” — but my memory is so good, I forgot that at the time of writing (and I’m not trying to humiliate people in front of their imaginary friends). He’s just a boy though. Sometimes I wonder if some of the “men“ around here, or in videos shared around here, must’ve had a childhood similar to his.
