i have noticed that by using rational one can come up with very accurate explanations even if you do not have any knowledge of experiements done. one of the most notable predictions i have made through rational is the one that states that we do not forget anything.
it was awkward at first but then i came about some evidence that suggested the reasoning was correct.
( read everything through before answering.)
so lets start with the simple premise.
- every cause has an effect.
so it was evident to me that people remember somethings and others we dont. there must be a reason for that.
now it was my realization that “important” things where remembered. Important is determined by conditioning and thus dependant on pain and pleasure.
so what you remember is dependant on your conditioning.
contradiction:
however this would imply that you cant remember something if it is not associated to either pain or pleasure which is not correct.
so i came to this conclusion, to focus on a thought you must have a cause and that is pain and pleasure so what you focus your attention on is determined by conditioning.
so your consciousness (you)= your conditioning.
however something else determines what we subconsciously remember. (knowledge we are not aware of).
since it cannot be conditioning, because we are not born conditioned, my only other alternative is body structure. but this would mean that the brain cannot be selective in anyway of what associations it stores, since this is the case it cannot be selective of what it “forgets” so my conclusion was:
we subconciously “remember” everything. although associate everything would be better since remember implies consciousness.
