WWI: Germany brutally defeated (that’s a whole other issue)
1920s: Gradual economic collapse leading into near 50% unemployment, massive unpayable debt and hyperinflation.
1929: Great Depression.
1930s: Hitler elected. Germany somehow becomes the economic powerhouse of all of Europe. Olympics held in Berlin in 1936. Goes on to somehow conquer continental Europe and huge parts of Africa and the Middle East. Only loses WW2 because America joins on the side of the allies.
Then remember what General Patton said before he was murdered by the usual suspects: “We defeated the wrong enemy.”
