I thought we were friends!? Fine! mumble, grumble
But instead of one bum (who will surely try to exchange it for crack) can I give it to a few or several bums?
O_G, if it’s alright with you, I will give your $5 to ILP along with the $5 that Tab gave me so that ILP and some bum(s) can split Tabula Rasa’s reward…
I’ve read the top three, and think NoelyG’s was best. I’m a big fan of scenarios where someone is resolved to do something or has a fixed opinion, and someone else (who disagrees or would lose out as a consequence) tries to “turn” this person. (Two of the best examples of this are Lady de Winter and Felton in The Three Musketeers, and Chancellor Palpatine and Anakin Skywalker in Revenge of the Sith.) The story was a good context in which to discuss philosophical things, and I think it ended well. Good job, Noely …but not quite as good as my entry
I’ll try to get onto it today. If anyone else has deleted their entry then PM me and I’ll endeavour to reconstruct it on Symposia.
Gecota - are you still having trouble with the links? If you just go to the Symposia frontpage symposia.ilovephilosophy.com/ then you should be able to find the three pieces…
