This argument relies upon being reasonable, making a reasonable request to the creator, and if a reasonable request isn’t met, then there is at least not a benevolent one, or if it’s benevolent, not anywhere near omnipotent.
The request is simple and reasonable… take all 7 billion people and give them their own universe in a parallel reality, so we can keep all of our loved ones, but each day just keeps getting better and better and better… the next days paper says everyone signed peace treaties, and all diseases were cured, suddenly the friendly side of people comes out more and they delve into more and more interesting and sustaining life affirming discussions. Now this actually doesn’t seem to be an unreasonable request for all of us. From our perspective we’d get to keep our loved ones, we’d just keep adding more and more and more… and life would get more beautiful each day.
So this is my falsifying test for an omnibenevolent, omnipotent (though you wouldn’t have to be omnipotent to pull this one off) creator. It’s a REASONABLE request.
The thing that’s so REASONABLE about this request is that I’m not just asking it for myself, and it’s an optimal scenario request for all parties, the other people could all just be God, which wouldn’t be too hard for God to do, but from our perspective, they’d seem exactly like the people we knew before except in cases where people are abusing us and each other, then their kinder side would come out. Of course this alternate reality would involve lots of consensual sex with lots of women for me, opening themselves up emotionally and physically more rather than abusing me. The beauty of it is, everyone gets to go to heaven together, God could even do this for all of the ghosts and whatever… The point is that the creator (if it exists and which may or may not be God) could easily perform this task, it’s supremely ethical and has no negative side effects, it doesn’t exclude anyone, and let’s you keep all of the people that you already love. It’s the perfect falsification test for an omnibenevolent powerful creator. This way you aren’t changing people against their will, and God would be able to absorb everything that hit God painlessly for people who fantsize to act out, because that would be within Gods power as well. Ultimately I bet God could even have the power to bring people to a perfect ethical state so that they understand the value of not acting out against others without violating them. So this is my test. My scientific falsifiable test for a powerful omnibenevolent creator.
A moral omnibenevolent creator of everything, who doesn’t even have to be omnipotent to do this, just powerful enough to be the creator of it. This falsification test uses all the rules of non-selfishness. So it’s not UNREASONABLE.
Actually it uses the rules of non-selfishness and non-harm… so it’s a perfect falsifiable test for an omnibenevolent creator, and it’s not a contradiction to use this test because it has the no selfishness and no-harm principle.
Can you word that differently, I’m not sure i quite understand… are you saying let people have their beliefs in God, or are you saying let God do what God wants to do? (replace God with “hypothetical omnibenevolent creator”)
thank you…ec… why do you need to hammer away at the person god…let them believe what they want…

ec they are not going to change their beliefs…you are wasting your time…good try…the person god will fall eventually of its own weight…
The 7 billion people are, sorry to break the news Ec, but you drew the short straw and are the only one with the universe where people are not spoilt. Better luck next time.
