In religion we are told that the path to heaven is through that of the holy spirit and god.
For those who submit themselves to god they achieve the “sacred grace” of approval into heaven through the very holy spirit they have embraced and come to also sacrifice themselves to it in the process having deemed themselves to be “good” in the divine grace of their idolatrus gods.
In civilization and government we see another religious ritual for what we see imposed on every individual is the religion of the future.
The religion of the state offers heaven only to those who are willing to sacrifice every aspect of their very lives to the state’s economy who acts in the place of the holy spirit as a intermediary.
God the state whispers in every individual’s ear with famous catch phrases like that of “Your Future” in every birth and conception telling them about the sweet wonderful dreams of heaven here on earth with tranquil abodes of luxory, idleness and apathy.
For this heaven here on earth under the state’s divine supervision it only requires our complete surrender, submission, subjugation and allegiance of ourselves to it.
It asks only that we completely surrender ourselves to it entirely.
Clearly like religion which often mythologically discusses the future of souls in judgement awaiting that of eternal heaven or hellish damnation civilization in comparison completely discusses the future of individuals to that of heavenly prosperity in wealth here on earth while simulataneously cursing individuals to total damnation of labor for the rest of their lives should they fall short of the sacred commandments which surrounds the ritualized stage of the economy.
One thing is for certain. The economy remains the holiest of ideals here on earth guided by that of the state who acts like god and only those who are willing to make the most sacred of “sacrifices” or "compromises"are allowed to its divine grace of approval.
Your future to happiness and earthly bliss awaits you in the final judgement of the state!
Embrace the holy spirit that is the economy and may the state go with you!
learn to say “christianity” instead of “religion” since there are religions who don’t follow your credence of grace. quit trying to paint things colours they’re not.
Does not the family entirely revolve around the state and government?
It used to be the other way in the past perhaps but as time has gone by slowly all communities and families become only expressions of the state’s will especially in regards to centralization or that of modernization.
okay…do as you please. it just so happens that when you do that you are painting vast generalizations that are entirely incorrect. judaism for example (if you’ll allow me to believe I may know a tad more than you do in this subject) does not rely on the grace of god to get into heaven. the similarities you’re relying on don’t apply to every religion in the context you’re using them.
and as for economies having roots in christianity…you just proved my point there. CHRISTIANITY not all world religions. I understand you’ve got a problem with religion, but at least criticize it appropriately.
comparative similarities in what? christianity and the economy? okay…I can see and appreciate that. I can’t appreciate you trying to see similarities that aren’t there between religions.
and just because I hate being on bad terms with anyone (even if it is over the internet) I did appreciate your post. I find it highly intriguing and agree with most of what is said. I do like how you are able to see how christianity permeates aspects of our government I wouldn’t have thought of.
Not at all. I’m just trying to figure out how I can relatively improve my own insights and now that I think of it perhaps there is some worth in what you have said.
I wrote this little piece at work today on my lunch break so there really wasn’t exactly alot of time spent into this as much that I would like to admit.
