Recently i was struck by the self image of myself as as warrior in a philosophical metaphorical sense. This warrior represented me as a philosopher. And specifically the weapon I carried represented the type of philosopher I am.
I envisioned myself dragging around a giant steel spiked mace with some old leather strapping near the handle. To heavy to really lift, and leaving a quite a drag mark behind it, it doesn’t even look like I could lift it. There is a wrist strap on the handle as if it could go flying out of my hand…
Dont take this as an arrogant or gloating type post, I want people to describe the weapon they envision themselves carrying.
I suppose you could say that. The thing is, I’ve kind of given up trying to prove others wrong. It feels so useless. Its much more fruitful to try to understand how they think.
I get the impression that you like to make posts about topics which you are extensively educated in, and when you do, you like to obliterate whatever your attacking in a gentile yet potent kind of way.
Your image of me couldn’t be further from that - I don’t want/ask for: anything from anyone: save mutual respect for myself and others, and that costs nothing!
Not necessarily sneaky. You might just be cunning. And not necessarily underhanded, perhaps just devastating.
The ninja wears black in order to not be seen at night of course. Plus, it makes you look slim .
The true night colour is actually red. It blends seemlessly with the night environment where true black stands out. It also is intimidating in fire light.
They are the true sneaky ones.
It might suprise you to know that the art of ninja warefare was developped for a rightous cause, though the fact that it is a katana would put a completely different refrence on “your weapon”
What i really get is the sense that you like to stab idiots in the heart, (i know i do )
