some thoughts after several days of work

You were addressing me directly.

Now you pretend that you were talking to the audience??

Kropotkin doesn’t approve of videos - but if he did, I have a feeling he would post something like the attached:

facebook.com/SustainableHum … 1967899429

You think socialism is sustainable? Communism?

Sustainability requires a complete redo of existing political, economic and social systems.

and at this point, I return to an old point and try to connect it to this thread…

two points, first the battle in becoming human, fully human lies in how we
become autonomous, authentic people… to become fully human means
we must, at first anyway, reject the current path of the route of least resistance…
which is to simply follow society/the state in mindless conformity to its banality
of existence…by that I mean, each of us in our daily lives, working and going to school,
still feel compelled to obey, follow the path of least resistance by being who society,
the state demands of us… by being workers and consumers and producers…
to fulfil our roles of human beings by becoming slaves to the capitalistic system…
we can find and in fact, part of my argument is, that we can find existence
to be far more useful if we reject the role that society/the state puts us in…
to be workers, consumers, producers is the role society/the state demands
of its citizens…I reject this…

we can become human beings and in fact the only true way to become
an autonomous and authentic human being is to reject the current
political and economic systems that are currently in place…
to reject democracy and to reject communism and to reject
catholicism and all the other ism’s and ideologies that populate
the world today… we must find our own path into the future…

and that path means we must walk away from our current ism’s and
ideologies…we must become Autonomous, authentic people by engaging
with the world in political and economic systems that reflect who we are,
not as society or the state demands of us…my path to becoming doesn’t
lie in me being a consumer, a workers or a producer… those paths are meant
to contain and hold us into certain fixed positions of living…we cannot
grow and become who we in an economic system that demands that
we can only be a worker, consumer or a producer…as our current
economic and political systems demand…

I am calling for us to crave new path, to follow a new economic
and political system that allow us to become autonomous and authentic…

but what systems will allow us to be that?
and that is the question we must answer, not just me or just you,
but all of us together… and that is the point… we must first understand
that we are now and haven’t been, in a system, political or economic,
that allows us to become autonomous and authentic…

the goal isn’t to make our political and economic systems the greatest in
the world but to use our political and economic systems to discover what
it means to be human and to become who we are, autonomous and authentic
human beings…

but Kropotkin, what does becoming an Authentic and Autonomous being mean?

that is the question we must answer together… all of us…

K: I am always, always addressing an audience… you are just the means to
make that address… it isn’t about the 10 or 12 people who post on this site, but
the hundreds who wonder in and out without ever posting… I address them as well…

I know you believe that you are the only person on planet earth, but
I hold that we are part of the human race, all 8 billion of us and even more,
we are part of all living beings… animal, plants, fish, and even the entire earth…
the earth itself does perform the functions of existence… it has every sign
of existence, of life itself…for the earth itself is life…

organisms: are open systems that maintain homeostasis, are compose of cells,
have a life cycle, undergo metabolism, can grow, adapt to its environment,
respond to stimuli, reproduce and evolve… I hold that the earth does all of that…
and thus can be called life…I don’t engage with the little pictures of life…
I look at life from the viewpoint of an eagle… I have removed my nose from
the grindstone and I have looked up… maybe try the same?

Kropotkin

What an ego you have. :laughing-lettersrofl:

You have to give the guy credit Phyllo…

He is TRYING to expand his compassion.

Sure, he’s going to trip a lot on the way over his own hypocrisy…

But he’s trying.

I’d give him a D+ for skill and an A for effort.

Compassion?

Half the time he posts hateful criticisms of conservatives, republicans or capitalists.

He’s more divisive than anything.

He’s TRYING phyllo. Like I said before… he’s going to trip over hypocrisy every other step he takes.

But he’s trying.

I am often accused of being an, (not in any particular order)

An idiot, a fool, a loser, pathetic, divisive, un-American,
commie, dumb, lacking compassion… but the fact is,
your reaction to me is really not that important…nothing anyone
here calls me will “rock” my world or can be even considered to
be worth my effort to respond to…nope… I don’t care what you think
about me… it isn’t worth my effort to think about, little less to react to…

my questions are questions such as brought about by the Kantian
questions… “What should I do?” “What should I believe in?” “What
can I know?” “What values should I hold?” “What am I to do in this existence?”

these questions of existence are the focus of my examination into
what is the “Meaning of life?” …

if we waste time in questions about the specific details of existence…
for example, what job or career should I have? is not that important in
one’s life… it just isn’t… but few if any actually examine that point…
we need to look at the bigger picture of existence… is the tax rate
the right rate at 15% isn’t a big picture worth of thought…what is the point
of taxes, that is a question worth pondering…

what picture of human beings are we painting when we answer questions of
existence? what values are the important values? Why these
values and not other values? Those questions are the questions worth thinking
about…not questions as to the nature of Kropotkin value?
Is he an idiot? Who cares? I certainly don’t care…

Finding the right question is as important as finding the right answer…
if not more important…Who are you?

what are your values? what does it mean to be human? these are the questions
of existence that we should be engaged with, not questions about Kropotkin
state of being, an idiot or a fool? Who cares?

Kropotkin

See what I mean phyllo

He won’t even think about the feedback that he gets?

Brilliant.

He won’t be stuck in a rut making the same mistakes.

Peter Kropotkin: An idiot, a fool, a loser, pathetic, divisive, un-American,
commie, dumb, lacking compassion…

K: do you mean this feedback?

yah, I don’t worry to much about this sort of “feedback”…

Kropotkin

I said divisive.

You could think that I implied “lacking compassion”.

The rest, I did not say.

K: thus implying that “phyllo” feedback is the only feedback worth listening
to… as to the rest, others have said in giving me “feedback” to my writing…
In fact, Observe called me an “idiot” today… should I consider that feedback or not?

Kropotkin

Peter,

The day you put anyone on ignore is the day you became an idiot.

I listen to everyone Peter. It’s made me a better person. Everyday it makes me a better person.

You know what’s funny about all of this Peter?

You, by using the ignore function, are a totalitarian dictator.

I find that funny.

You wrote “K: do you mean this feedback?” right after my post.

So you were addressing me.

I’m prepared to discuss what I wrote about you. I’m not going to discuss what others may or may not have written.

Some of your list is insulting and inappropriate but that’s not the only feedback that you have received.

Some people are just noise though.
No one benefits from listening to noise, and it is not idiotic to black that noise.

I don’t really see it that way. I always learn weird shit from anyone.

But then it is so difficult to become objective. When after nihilizing every bit that attaches us to
a certain situation, we can not no more escape it by a simple trick of sleight of hand and reassert the difference that can be internally universalizef!

Subjectivism can be beat this way, and even if our own situation appears an imtractinle and demeaning, the systemic trust of the heavy loads which ideologies can do to our psyche, should be managed by the knowledge that such problems have forever tried to be solved iver and over by revolutionary insight and action.

The transpersonal hope in engaging in some solution always appears to gleam jewels of change but had always changed back to the same old. The green grass on the other side dictates the worn out simulated grass on this side, on on on.

The greatest revolution in recent memory was the American Revolution followed by the raid on the Bastille, and the very delicate balance is what remains of what remains of human rights as opposed to free enterprise.
These two poles of appearently dissimilar but mot contradictory ideas, still dominate world affairs as theu always have and I have come to an early conviction thag life is too short fir both" those who can firm objective opinions in some intrinsic of extrinsic manner, and those who can not overcome what we have come to understand as a nihilistic. or, primarily projective endeavor to base our opinions on a denied form of will to somehow transcend our.subjective mod of representing states of mind.

Political activism based on hidden ideological transcendentals, denies our own sense of our individual needs and tries tk identify our own lack of involvement by getting on deceptive bandwagons of populist movements.

Such movements are inversely proportional to the real economic inflations, and politicisrd, become literally appeals on join us or get the hell off , calls for justice.

The problem of capital remind of the universal problem between the One and the many, the Ying and the Yang of long heralded battle cries. Where hundreds of millions have already perished, and still echoing the same old unfinished business, down to the wire, with all participants on adverse sided having set the doomsday wire minutes before midnight.

To survive , all participant adverseries must work through the potential for a failure which could trip the systemic wire and the gauntlet being repossessed by someone as shrewd as Mr. Trump.
