There are pics showing N’s living corpse, or body that has overcame humanity in totality, or whatever you what to call it, and there is no will in the eyes on those. Well, that particular picture portraits Nietzsche as he was in 1882. He was still relatively sane in that period. I mean, it’s a real pity he got that breakdown in '88, especially since in the years before that he got to write up for example The Antichrist, which he completed in just a week. I’m amazed at that, because I can’t imagine myself writing (writing… typing on a computer I might be able to do it, but not writing…) something like that in week. He must’ve been on a spree back then, it’s that part of his character I like most. That fierceness. Being so angry, so discontent with stuff, that you can produce so much good stuff in such a short time. Brilliant!
