We make our own weapons out of wood , dense foam and/or rubber so we can make full contact , and sparr using what we know of martial arts . Reffering also to old scottish combat manuals . Usually we wear protective goggles for our eyes as the weapons can be dangerous. We Judge the fight as though the weapons were real .
So if I hit you square on the jaw with a heavy rubber mallet its safe to say you would be dead had it been a real weapon

Clueless in Nevada here, what do you mean Clann an conn? I was curious if you are a Scot. Please expand on your Clann an conn, or do you see yourselves as a possible group of Highlanders, but that would not be sensible minded, sorry regarding the oxymoron.
