U.S Senator Padilla of California was arrested
today for trying to ask a question of Noem’s press
conference in LA today… he didn’t do anything outside of
trying to ask a question… That is the tactics of an
dictatorship… arresting a US senator who is
doing official business and is legally, protected
by law because he is doing official business…
and the only defense the administration had was
a bogus lie about his ‘‘lunging’’ toward Noem…
he clearly did no such thing… this brazen violation
of the law shows the extent this dictatorship is
willing to go to protect itself…
if a sitting U.S Senator can be illegally arrested,
anyone can be arrested… which is the point of this…
to scare people into silence… and given its timing,
two days before some of the biggest protest in American
history, suggests that this was planned in advanced…
I would suggest that it will fail as a tactic to scare people
into staying home… I was planning on going to a ‘‘No Kings’’
demonstration beforehand, and now I am even more
sure of going… My wife has told me not to go
because she was scared of violence…
and I flat out refused… it is not a happy time
in the Kropotkin household… But that is the point
of this arrest… to frighten good people into staying home…
My wife has stopped talking to me… not the worse punishment
ever… and I will still go even though she made it very clear
that if something happens, like me getting arrested, she will
not come and get me, I shall still go…
I believe it is that important… and nothing short of
death before Saturday will stop me from going…
the governor of Florida, deathsantis, has declared
that people will be allowed to run over protesters
with their cars… as being legal… when the fuck
did running over people with cars become legal?

As for your original post, that is insane they cuffed him and took him out of there. Somebody better have on video him actually lunging at that woman in a threatening manner. I haven’t found it. I don’t think I will.

Leftist hyperbole doesn’t seem particularly helpful to leftist causes.
Desantis said that if a crowd of protestors swarms your car and threatens you, you can run them over. That is completely different from some carmaggedon driver intentionally going to a protest and mass murdering people. Saying that Desantis legalized carmaggedon isn’t particularly helpful to the discussion. If anything it could actually increase the overton window and endanger leftists more than before.
What’s more it continues the stereotype that leftists cannot get their story straight and always spin and distort the news.
At most it seems like a violation of 1st amendment (freedom of speech)

he was officially arrested, but that he was handcuffed
and assaulted… in violation of both the constitution and

The point is leftists exaggerate everything they say and that is why there have become expressions such as “fake news”. Leftists have become so unreliable narrators that whenever a leftist says something you just assume its probably hyperbole.
Leftist exaggeration is a weapon they use, it is something they need as a weapon. A leftist that doesn’t exaggerate is like cowboy without a sixgun.

K: I appreciate your concern…I am hoping, this being California,
that I will be safer than say, someone in the south or other far right
states… but I have taken some precautions… I am leaving my phone
in the car, I have both a mask and goggles in case of tear gas…
I am also in the midst, I hope, of hundreds of other people…
I am going to report tomorrow how this went… I haven’t done
a protest in years… it’s about time… both wife and daughter
are mad at me, but I gotta do what I gotta do…
Yes, it was a strange choice of words! I was trying to convey the notion that despite your somewhat radical view, you didn’t pose an immediate threat to PK. The ‘NO KING’ rally presents a real threat to his well-being.
It would appear that all the kings horses and all the kings men have been granted a license to trample and shoot (rubber bullets) and club protesters, as and when the mood takes them.
