Step I: we all stay separate and powerful over our own dot of influence — isolated from all the other dots
Step II: we expand our dot of influence to encompass all the dots and it becomes an all-encompassing sphere (within communication range)
Step III: we could take turns recognizing the unique power of each dot (within communication range) in a trade-off way, and interact rather than staying completely separate or just conglomerating into one that negates all the others (which is done by both step I & II)
Question: That one that negates all the others (& not just by ignoring rather than exploiting the other dots)… is that capitalism or communism?
Question 2: Since we never started out isolated, what sort of thing is step three (everything is within their communication range) that we can never quite arrive at, but only depart from (as we so obviously have)?
We have no Hope because we think it is impossible to arrive at mutual recognition—and it is. If we knew “mutual recognition” is the eternal (ontologically prior) situation we merely departed from, wouldn’t we have hope that we can return to it, so it (they) can help us achieve it (mutual recognition) within our communication range (sphere of influence)?
overly individualistic: globally speaking… many locally fragmented individuals with no shared group identity — heat death of the universe
overly collectivistic: globally speaking…many individuals whose identities are absorbed into one identity of the group, and they can never escape unless they get the escape velocity from somewhere else — a universe that is a black hole
A future A.I. driven transhumanism dystopia will be guided by a handful of private corporations.
In other words, such a futuristic nightmare will be brought about by capitalism because as usual capitalists seem unable to think about long term consequences in just about everything.
There are two hidden replies and… I cannot see them because the poster is muted. This means that in the past, they have annoyed me on such a level that I decided it was no longer useful to dialogue with them. Still here talking to myself, therefore. Imagine someone actually responding to the original post.
