Clinton Vs America The Official 2016 US Elections Thread

That’s the least of your worries concerning Syria, Russia, and Iran if that bitch wins.

I would of voted had my vote mattered, at all. It literally didn’t, my vote matters no more than Kropotkin. He is in the strongest Hillary State, I’m in the strongest Trump State.

It literally didn’t matter, Trump got far, far more out of me talking to people in Ohio than a pointless vote. He wasn’t losing here.

Some Australian reactions to the US vote count so far

“Of course if Hillary Clinton is elected president she will be the first woman to hold this significant global position and that would be a cause for celebration for women around the world.” - Australia’s Foreign Minister Julie Bishop.

“Someone who can’t respect women - I can’t respect them.” - Opposition Leader Bill Shorten on Trump, a man he’s previously described as barking mad.

“I think America is in the throws of a political nervous breakdown and if Hillary gets elected, as we all hope, I think she’s in for civil war in congress. America remains weak and it’s almost beyond power of a president to rectify.” - Former Labor foreign minister Bob Carr.

“I hope #TRUMP wins and not #Clinton because his policies are based on common sense & the values of freedom.” - One Nation Senator Pauline Hanson, on Twitter a few days ago.

“Are we going to see a Trump movement here in Australia? For sure I think we will and I hope just like the US it is contained within the Liberal National coalition rather than one that springs up from outside it.” - Nationals MP George Christensen.

“I’m about to give my mate Bruno a call, he’s a bobcat operator in Adelaide.” - Independent senator Nick Xenophon jokes about having to build a bunker if Trump wins.

“As a feminist, I think it would be a huge breakthrough.” - Greens Senator Lee Rhiannon hopes for a history-making win for Clinton who would the first woman in the White House.
“I personally would have rather’d Bernie Sanders. But I feel like I’d rather have her than Trump … I feel like it’s important to support someone.” - Californian Olivia Robinson, at a Sydney election event, sums up the apathy many US voters have expressed about Clinton and Trump.

“For so long, we’ve been so worried about what’s going to happen and what a Trump presidency would actually do for our country. I just need to have hope that love will conquer, that healthcare will conquer, that equal rights will conquer.” - US expat Janna DeVylder watches the vote count at the University of Sydney.

“The whole Clinton baggage is something the United States really doesn’t need. With so many scandals, I just think it needs another alternative. I think he can bring back a lot of jobs and trade. He can close that border.” - Trump supporter Jeremy Costello at an election count event in Sydney.

Trumps lead in Florida going slowly, just over 112,000 votes in the lead, but dissapearing fast. I don’t like this math.

Virginia has defected to the Empire.

Rebel Alliance still maintaining lead in Florida somehow, I don’t know how Trump is doing it.

Seen that a couple of minutes ago. Minnesota went Clinton. Not surprising there.

Florida and North Carolina still to be accounted for. Maniacal Mongoose called Virginia the outer rim of Washington D.C.

More or less, West Virginia never should of gave Virginia it’s independence, it has become a mockery of its former self.

These are constantly updated results from Michigan, surprise Wayne County is even giving Trump that large of a vote, he was getting 0% in polls there. Somehow pollsters missed a big chunk of Trump supporters in Detroit.

The t.v. pundits are acting all surprised of his extended numbers. Amusing.

My question is. Will Trump’s policies, if he wins, cause U.S. inflation to increase, decrease or stay the same?

Increase. There certainly will be a lot of economic volatility because a Trump administration would essentially be shitting all over Wallstreet’s parade.

Economic protectionism or nationalism would essentially disrupt the deep state and military industrial complex.

Ohio won by Trump. Colorado won by Clinton.

Katy Perry in cahoots with Clinton. Pop music cunt.

A lot of that money is foreign owned, it would have to be bought out for foreign currency.

Like with Brexit, you would see a short term crash and fake panic on Wallstreet, it would start inching upwards from then on. Trump will have to invest in a lot of companies to start building the border wall, and our road system. That is a cash and debt influx, as well as enlarged government in certain DC administration sectors.

Obamacare is collapsing either way, Senate looks it is leaning Republican, so we likely would get a lot done. Under Hillary, complete deadlock. Those Aussie quotes of “American weakness” is largely a misunderstanding of how our system of government works, we gave up the parlimrntry system in 1776, have checks and balances. We are designed to have this gridlock, we just so happen to be a superpower, so it isn’t a coincidence, we make our system work. Obviously, runs a lot smoother if the president and Congress gets along, but such situations lead to less caution in passing new laws and budgets.

Hillary is economic worst case scenario if the Senate goes Republican, we are fucked then, till 2020 when they might achieve a even larger majority. You can kiss any liberal supreme court pick goodbye if they control it.

Whatever happens pay attention to Obama’s last days in office especially if Trump wins the presidency. Possible sabotaging domestic and international maneuvering…

I think Trump will negotiate the essentials of a trade deal with PM May before swearing in.

I think Obama will also Pardon Clinton, but I don’t know how legally binding that would be on Congress, and furthermore, he would have to list in advance what crimes she is pardoned for, a challenging task to get them all. Congress may just get her for Jaywalking if he makes it too hard.

Honestly, she might be fleeing into exile before January.

Well, let’s not jump to any conclusions yet. Where is Peter Kropotkin at? Mr Reasonable?

Donald Trump wins North Carolina.
