Me neither. It can all be a bit disturbing in a way. But for me, the box is open, and putting the lid on it again is not going to change the contents, or the fact that I peeked inside.
Yes, you liberal democrats view democracy as consecratus where I in contrast view it as a political vehicle of corruption, bribery, ignorance, blackmail, extortion, and a Trojan Horse for oligarchical plutocracy.
In ancient Athens democracy was utilized by the aristocrats as a way of dethroning kings to give themselves the ability to loot the state’s treasury. In time after plundering the state under the name of democracy they would terrorize regular civilians stripping them of all their money in forms of ridiculous laws of legalized theft. The aristocrats made sure that everybody would always vote in their favor and if not they had no problem rigging elections either tilting the scales of votes.
Ancient democracy of course collapsed overtime only to be replaced with previous monarchy once again. For me in terms of human history democracies inevitably collapse, that is always the fate of your precious democracy.
I do not hold democracy in the same high regards as you do, that doesn’t make me evil despite you liberals shouting dictator to anybody that disagrees with your democracy nonsense.
I believe in a very morally and ethical authoritarian society where wrongdoings is punished and where corruption is outlawed to every full extent of the law. I believe in a very authoritarian society that protects the poor, aging, and vulnerable that actually very actively goes out punishing wrongdoers no matter how much money or status that they possess.
