I’ve talked with the LDS missionaries about food.
They say they like it, but they don’t seem to need it.
I want to give gifts to people but i want them to need it.
I’ve known Edward for a while and he feels he has
cooking problems so when someone like me cooks
for him, he likes it.
Edward is also one of my main friends in Edmonton.
I know him fairly well.
So I know he will appreciate well made meals.
Fajita mix plans :
Lots of chicken meat home cooked.
Fried onions.
Fried bell peppers.
Salsa.
Cheese.
Taco spice blend.
Sour cream gravy : [sour cream, with salt and pepper, boiled to enhance and change flavor.]
Cans of mixed beans to give body.
I may change my plans,
but right now, this is Dan’s Plans.
I filled 4 tupper wares with food and i still had some left over.
Tomorrow at around 12 mid day,
i will arrive at Edward’s house and ill give him the meals.
Then later we can talk. We will talk a lot, too.
I miss old friends.
Most people seem terribly passive and non considerate.
It’s hard to live in an unfriendly world.
Things would be easier if we were more unified.
People want the easy non thinking route it seems.
So they avoid socializing unless there is a reason.
Being at work with someone is sort of a reason
to be a friend, or school, that can made a friend.
But making a friend for the sheer sake of it?
Not as a side effect of being at the same place
at the same time? I fear the human spirit is too weak.
Yes, you’ve hit on something. Part of that “strength in numbers” comes from overcoming individual social anxiety/vulnerability. Once that is overcome, the challenge is (or, can be) not to lose oneself in the crowd. Iron can only sharpen iron if the irons do not fuse.
I phoned him in the morning / mid day,
and i asked him what he would like most.
He chose eggs.
I fried 10 eggs and used some shredded marble cheese.
I also added taco spice blend to the eggs.
I brought the food in a tupper ware container.
He liked it. 8 / 10.
I brought Ed some v8 rice noodles with cheese yesterday.
He rated it 9 / 10.
Still haven’t made the big veggie.
Later I will make it,
but i have other things I want to do first.
I am making chicken fried quinoa with a variety of cut veggies.
Still on my Terraria replay.
I talked to brother James recently. He has insomnia like me.
So we said a few things over FB chat.
Tomorrow I want to make some ham and cheese sandwiches:
Black forest deli ham, miracle whip, processed cheddar slices, and iceberg lettuce.
In a few weeks i may be able to visit with Clayton,
but he is quite booked for time usually.
Last time at church some people brought snacks.
And there is where I encountered a new kind of
curry. It was kinda like beanless chili. I had it with
white rice. I had two portions, then it all got
eaten. I would like to learn how it was made.
It was a new flavor combination that i was not
familiar with, but i liked it so much.
I figured out how to make cheese cake on RuneScape recently.
I’m still phoning my people semi often.
Am still viewing things on ILP too.
But I feel a lot of topics don’t need my info added to them.
For some strange reason, safeway’s deli was closed and empty.
But they still had packaged deli meats beside the area.
So I got turkey and salami for my sandwiches.
On RuneScape im makin money as usual.
I have Orange Pekoe tea with condensed milk and white sugar.
LDS / Mormons have a special day for singles to get together tomorrow and also on Saturday.
