Death is never neat

When you go to google this to prove me wrong, you’ll find that “jewish text” denounces child sacrifice, but that jewish cults in the ancient past certainly did it. Note that Islam does not produce cults and that no self-proclaimed Muslim has ever sacrificed the childrens. That weirdo shit was simply out of the question, even for the most radical of jihadists.

Prom. What do you think the roots/origins of Islam are?

It’s a cult. Whereas Judaism descended from Isaac, Islam recognizes Ishmael. Ishmael was born before Isaac, while the surrounding cultures were still sacrificing their babies to the gods (and continued to do so). The interrupted sacrifice of Isaac is what halted all that for the descendants of Abraham—and whenever they would return to detestable crap like that, they would face punishment/judgment. And it goes from there. Muhammad wasn’t even born until 570 A.D.

But you knew all that, right? Why we gotta rehash all this?

Not if your homeboy Gabriel came down and hung out with Muhammad, right? If he did, Islam would be much more than a cult, I’d say. Cults are what crazy humans do. Religions are what happens when angels come down and get involved.

Now, here’s the cool part. If we were to reverse our positions here, you would have to concede that judaism is a cult unless angels came down and got involved. But if you did that, you’d be offering only the same proof that muslims offer when the legitimacy of their religion is challenged; moses heard the voice of god, jesus performed miracles so was like an angel with magical powers, etc.

Same substance, different group of claimants. The foundational claims are the same in the abrahamic religions. Our people were contacted by god and instructed to start a religion, not those other people. Those are imposters.

Bruh.

Like, wut?

You gotta test all the spirits. If they make a claim about the future that doesn’t come true, you don’t believe anything they said. And even if they do work miracles, if anything contradicts treating the other as self (the Bible in a nutshell), they’re lying.

If you want to consider inclusion in the Bible an endorsement by God, then you have to think that believing what a talking snake tells you is a smart idea.

Unrepentant pedophiles don’t get a slap on the wrist. They will wish they had been thrown in the bottom of the ocean with a millstone tied around their neck.

Sufism is accessible to anyone seeking diverse perspectives, which often intersect with ideologies from around the world. In my view, apart from exploring the relationship between the creator and creation, Sufism is a valuable resource for understanding intuition and lived experience.

Mt Everest Horror stories.
On the summit ridge of Mount Everest, there’s littered with frozen bodies.

The question is wrong.
What i would expect of all rational human beings is to understand that there is inverse proportionality between the cost of living and the amount of time spent alive and by cost i do not mean money.

Whether or not you are willing to die does not matter. For all intents and purposes no life wants to stop existing. However, you should be capable of understanding that escaping death incurs an exponentially increasing fee.

First it will be just small things like taking medication for your failing body, then you will potentially start to replace what is failing. Down the line maybe you will start up some techno black arts insanity and transfer your consciousness into a new body or upload it into a computer, successfully destroying your humanity in the process.
And once you have become a disgusting aberration that has accomplished eternal life somehow, sacrificing its own humanity and status as a living being, the toll shifts and it will be collected on you mentally and psychologically.

You will be sitting in your eternal body watching eons go by, everything becoming meaningless repetition, sinking you into either apathy or an even more abhorrent spiral of insanity as you skin yourself alive just to feel something.

And assuming that you were as successful at eternal life as you could be, you will finally reach the end of the universe and you will be ended regardless of it all.

The question is not whether or not one wants to die.
The question is: is it worth it to stay alive and lose everything in the process, including mind, body and soul?
