Donald Trump creates executive order to remove homeless off the streets

Recently Donald Trump has created an executive order that helps facilitates the police and law enforcement across our nation to remove homeless people off the streets with less imposed restrictions.

You have to love this belligerent delusional nation of ours that exists in a huge state of economic denial since 2007 at the very latest, although the economic financial rot of our nation really started in the 1980s where the erosion of economic prosperity really began for the American working class since then, it was within the year 2007 that things really started to snowball for the American working class where things have been steadily getting worse with each subsequent year after that spanning well over decades to our present time period.

And now we’re going to make the lives of our own homeless citizens who are the most vulnerable people of our nation even that much more worse than their lives already are.

There is only so much denial you can embrace for a nation is serious existential decline and eventual collapse, by taking malicious actions like this against our own nation’s most vulnerable people truly is a despicable act.

What’s next, the bringing back of debtor prisons, and just jailing people who are homeless by the police across the nation?

You cannot lock away all of the homeless population into asylums either, that’s a ridiculous notion as well. You cannot hide and conceal the economic financial rot that is consuming this nation, the real reason these decisions are being made.

I didn’t read your post (it says “ignored content“ and will say that until you change your profile pic). But I did Google your headline. Here is my response.

Okay, but… what happens after drug/mental health treatment, and there’s still no income-based housing or jobs that pay the rent? It’s bad enough the laws reward cheaters who can’t win without overcharging and underpaying. Now they get to “emergency use authorize” er… I mean “by executive order” sweep away the evidence of their fraud so it “looks good” when foreign cheaters visit. How many of them are clean and sober and mentally whole? Mentally whole people would respond to the housing emergency by increasing income-based housing and not hoard rent money from those who do the majority of the work. And they would be held just as accountable to remaining substance free and mentally healthy.

P.S. Epstein didn’t kill himself.

Yes, I know Epstein didn’t kill himself just like I know nobody has been persecuted for all those activities that had spanned over almost three decades as well.

You’re just going to respond to my thread with a bunch of Google A.I. search slop? That’s sad.

That is not written by AI, and I didn’t need to do research I didn’t do/live previously, besides finding the article. I unhid your comment. You remain on ignore. I wish it was publicly sanctioned to put you in the same ring with me so I could legally kick your ass.

Muting this thread.

And another thing. Imagine the irony of redacting the Epstein files and saying what can’t be released about them… and saying he’s gonna be tracking homeless sex offenders.

I’m not opposed to the tracking. I’m saying don’t be a freaking hypocrite — release everything and let the chips fall where they may.

The absolute best response to American Homelessness is prevention. American society should not allow children to be ‘thrown out’ into the streets, or into lifelong drug addiction, to begin with.

I don’t know if any institution, State or Church, can really get their ‘hands dirty’ enough to make a dent in the problem that’s been created now. I fear that an Authoritarian may be forced to clean up the mess someday, in a brutal fashion…

The number one prevention for homelessness is having an economy of prosperity that raises people out of poverty, we no longer have that in the United States through a combination of high costs for everything, impossible pricing for homes, and a majority of jobs that don’t even pay a livable wage. The American dream anymore is work two to three jobs simultaneously hoping you accumulate just enough money before you die early of poor health.

Drug addiction exists because of learned helplessness, and a lot of time for people living on the streets it is the only way to cope being thrown out into the wind like disposable human garbage. That, and because there’s a lot of people in this nation that make a lot of money off of drug trade, they make a lot of money off of human suffering.

It’s clear to me this so called democratic republic of ours is dead on arrival.

Kind of, but I believe it goes deeper than that. Most of the homeless I’ve ever met, had severely abusive home lifes. They were/are clearly unwanted pregnancies. Their mothers hated them. Their fathers hated them, if they even had fathers. Often times it was both their parents who hated and abused them.

With that (lack of) home foundation, it doesn’t take much pressure from kids and teenagers to get them hooked on drugs. The more abused they were as children, the harder drugs they lean toward: heroin, meth, crack, fentanyl, oxycodone, etc.

It’s a spiritual depth involved. When kids are hated and never felt love in their early life, then it’s almost impossible to change that life around. This is where I side with the religious-right and Christians. Those types DO in fact need Jesus in their lives. Because they’ll never experience love and care from anybody else.

Homelessness now a crime.

Fucking great

You Leftists have been in Cultural and Governmental power for over 20 years. Why did YOUR side do nothing about it? Why didn’t YOU solve it, already?

You failed, now you deserve to lose cultural and political power.

In fact, your side made things much worse.

How can one person be so stupid?

20 Years???
So going back to 2005 the dominant political parties in power in the UK and the USA have been right wing.

UK A nominally left of centre government which had lowered homlessness, and reduced poverty a little since 1997.
From 2010 to 2023 the country was controlled by a right wing government.
Last year the UK elected a right of centre party.

USA. Bush - right wing. Obama centre right, Trump fascist, Biden centre right, Trump fascist dictatorhship.

I’ve no idea where you get your crazy ideas from.

My experience being forced to live the lifestyle many years ago there are different kinds of homeless people.

Chronic drug addicts that can’t function in society.

Extremely mentally ill people that can’t function in society.

Fugitive criminals that can’t function in society trying to lay low off the radar constantly evading law enforcement.

Elderly people living off of their inadequate retirement because they can’t afford to live anywhere.

People with extreme medical issues that for whatever reason either have no family or have been abandoned on the streets intentionally that can’t do much of anything because of chronic health problems.

Runaway teenagers living on the streets or forced onto the streets because their families have abandoned them.

People who have been kicked out of their residence because of job loss unable to find another place to live or another source of income.

Illegal immigrants and migrant workers that cannot find any work or means of income regarding their lack of citizenship status.

Single mothers with their children who have lost their jobs, place of residence, and source of income.

Working homeless who live out of their cars or vehicles because they cannot afford to live at permanent residence anywhere.

Homeless veteran soldiers whose military benefits are inadequate to give them a place to live, often suffering from PTSD and a multitude of other health problems.

Then there’s the rare breed of intentional homeless, I have referred to them as cynical misanthropes who just hate society, civilization, and people in general. These would be your mountain men living in the wilderness types who do everything they can to avoid modernity. I encountered a few men like that in my travels over the years, they’re peculiarly interesting.

Overall from my experience most forms of homelessness is purely economic, ultimately there is a multitude of reasons causing people to be homeless.

It’s been illegal since the 90s, Scalp.

The State stigmatizes SOs, making it impossible for them to find housing and then arrests them when they become homeless. They get charged with felonies, not that misdemeanor trespassing/vangrancy nonsense.

No other type of citizen faces this problem. Immigrant or not.

I’d trade circumstances with Jose the fence hopper any day.

Longer than the 90s, I don’t think there has ever been a period of time where it wasn’t illegal here going all the way back to the 1920s.

The big problem of the United States is that the general politics and population here like to say a majority of the homeless are mentally ill or drug addicts, it’s true that many fall into either category, but that’s still 50% of the overall homeless population.

There’s still many homeless people that are neither drug addicts or mentally ill.

The reason that misconception exists is because this nation refuses to acknowledge that obvious economic problems exist and this has gotten significantly worse within the last twenty years.

Right. The vast majority of types you mention are third and fourth generation lower working class stock. Raised by struggling parents, overworked if employed at all, little to no formal education, etc. These are the roadkill that got run over by the eighteen-wheeler of capitalism.

Pretty much, yes.

he was talking about how California is the homeless capital of the usa and also leftist capital of america. Although american “leftists” are different from authentic leftists

Simple explanation..
Right wing states generate homelessness, but California is warm and people go there so they have a better chance at getting on..
IN the UK where I live Brighton is the only Non Tory constituency in the South.
It Red and Green across the three Boroughs
People of all kinds go there because left leaning people are more tolerant and its a seaside town. The Gay/ trans capital of the UK.
